The application uses the Terminal Services ActiveX Client and is positioned as a replacement for the standard mstsc.exe Remote Desktop client. It supports several remote connection protocols and is especially useful for administrators, support teams, and power users managing many machines. The project originated on CodePlex and was later moved to GitHub as the official source.
