kcptun is a stable and secure tunnel based on KCP with N:M multiplexing and FEC. Available for ARM, MIPS, 386 and AMD64. kcptun is shipped with builtin packet encryption powered by various block encryption algorithms and works in Cipher Feedback Mode, for each packet to be sent, the encryption process will start from encrypting a nonce from the system entropy, so encryption to same plaintexts never leads to a same ciphertexts thereafter. kcptun made use of ReedSolomon-Codes to recover lost...

...Small packet size overhead (1 byte for unreliable, 3 bytes for reliable packets). Helper classes for sending and reading messages. Always use library sources instead of precompiled DLL files (because there are platform-specific #ifdefs and workarounds for unity bugs). Fast packet serializer (Usage manual). Automatic small packets merging. Automatic fragmentation of reliable packets. Automatic MTU detection. UDP NAT hole punching. NTP time requests. Packet loss and latency simulation. IPv6 support (dual mode). Connection statisitcs (need DEBUG or STATS_ENABLED flag). ...

...Its main purpose is to improve connection behavior in unstable or high-latency network conditions by using kcptun’s reliable UDP tunneling approach. The repository includes Android application code, plugin integration files, and localization support through the same translation process used by shadowsocks-android. It is best understood as a specialized networking companion for users who already understand Shadowsocks and kcptun configuration.
