    AnyPixel.js

A web-friendly way for anyone to build unusual displays

...Anyone can fork the code and the schematics to create their own display at any scale. The first display using this platform is in the 8th Avenue lobby at the Google NYC office. To create this installation, we used 5880 off-the-shelf arcade buttons with LEDs inside them as our pixels. PiFBA

Final Burn Alpha 2x for Raspberry Pi

INTRODUCTION PiFBA is Final Burn Alpha 2x for the Raspberry Pi ported by Squid. This emulates old arcade games using MAME based roms for CPS1, CPS2, Neogeo, Toaplan and many other games. It should support most recent versions of the MAME versions of these ROMS but unfortnately there is no definitive version to use. A full list of supported games is in the frontend program. Some large ROMS may require converting to the '.fba' format before they will work.

    MAME4ALL-Pi

    MAME emulator for Raspberry Pi

This is a MAME Raspberry Pi port based on Franxis MAME4ALL which is itself based on the MAME 0.37b5 emulator by Nicola Salmoria. This version emulates 2270 different 0.375b5 romsets. Although this is an old version of MAME it plays much faster than the newer versions and as the Pi is rather CPU underpowered it was chosen to get as many games working at full speed as possible (full speed means 100% with no frame skip). It also plays most of the games I'm interested in playing! Source...
