...The child taps their picture to sign in and gets a launcher of big tiles instead of a desktop; a ring shows the minutes left, and two voices, Zio and Sio, say when time is nearly up. The parent sets the rules from a panel on the same computer, or on their phone over their own Tailscale network: daily limits that changing the clock cannot fool, allowed hours, a local web filter, one-tap answers to requests for more time, history, and a live view of the screen that the child always sees. Nothing about the family leaves the computer: no account, no telemetry, no BioKids server. An optional assistant runs on the machine itself.
