...PimSched has espeak/mbrola read out words from a wordlist(vocabulary/translation seperated by '='), and then schedules the words according to the Pimsleur approach(5 seconds, 25 seconds, 2 minutes, 10 minutes). We have decided upon a core programming language for the kernel, and the core language for almost everything else. My ideas beyond up my coding abilitiy :( Monarch Linux is an Arch Linux based distro driven by Peynir suprapackage manager. Monarch Linux also has primitive Live CD Hardware Configurator called "Bilgin". In order to Monarch Linux developed by rookie coder, you should be ready for everything :). Monarch is currently at prealpha stage. So its updated frequently and you may get a lots of error. -

...Used python 2.6.4 and pygame 1.9.1 for development. Tested on Linux and Win XP. Update 2013: I'm sorry that the development for this game stopped. I tried to render everything with OpenGL and as expected, found myself in the middle of a multitude of problems relating to it. The blocks look a lot cooler in 3d though, so I hope I'll manage to resume studying what went wrong and eventually fix it. If I had a Windows machine to do development on, I might try to rewrite everything in Unity, but until they make a Linux dev platform, I think I'll remain with pygame and pyOpenGL.

This is my Pyweek #5 entry. It’s got everything but sound at this point. I didn’t feel like I had as much time to finish as I would have liked, but I think the results are quite good. Perhaps it will get the full polishing it deserves.
