    Throttled

    Throttled

Workaround for Intel throttling issues in Linux

This tool was originally developed to fix Linux CPU throttling issues affecting Lenovo T480 / T480s / X1C6. The CPU package power limit (PL1/2) is forced to a value of 44 W (29 W on battery) and the temperature trip point to 95 'C (85 'C on battery) by overriding default values in MSR and MCHBAR every 5 seconds (30 on battery) to block the Embedded Controller from resetting these values to default. On systems where the EC doesn't reset the values (ex: ASUS Zenbook UX430UNR), the power limit can be altered by using the official intel_rapl driver.

    Watchman

    Watchman

A file watching service that records when files change

Watchman purpose is to watch files and record when there are changes. It can trigger actions (rebuilding assets, for example) when there is a change in matching files. The watchman executable has both the client and the server components of the watchman service. When running watchman, it will attempt to communicate with your existing server instance (each user has their own persistent process), and will attempt to start it if it doesn’t exist. There are some options that affect how watchman...

    Hy

    Hy

A dialect of Lisp that's embedded in Python

...Compared to other Lisps, Hy provides direct access to Python’s built-ins and third-party Python libraries, while allowing you to freely mix imperative, functional, and object-oriented styles of programming. The first thing a Python programmer will notice about Hy is that it has Lisp’s traditional parenthesis-heavy prefix syntax in place of Python’s C-like infix syntax. As in other Lisps, the value of a simplistic syntax is that it facilitates Lisp’s signature feature, metaprogramming through macros, which are functions that manipulate code objects at compile-time to produce new code objects, which are then executed as if they had been part of the original code.

    Exploitarium

    Exploitarium

A single archive of public exploit PoCs and vulnerability research

...It gathers older standalone research repositories into one place while also adding newer entries as self-contained folders. The project includes tracked examples involving software such as 7-Zip, AnyDesk, c-ares, curl, Discourse, Docker, and other targets. Its purpose is research visibility, vulnerability study, and educational review rather than normal application deployment. Because the repository contains exploit proof-of-concepts, it should only be used in authorized labs, defensive analysis, or coordinated research contexts. It is best categorized as a high-risk security research archive that requires careful legal and ethical handling.

Numba-compiled numerical algorithms in Python can approach the speeds of C or FORTRAN. You don't need to replace the Python interpreter, run a separate compilation step, or even have a C/C++ compiler installed. Just apply one of the Numba decorators to your Python function, and Numba does the rest. Numba is designed to be used with NumPy arrays and functions. Numba generates specialized code for different array data types and layouts to optimize performance. ...
