    pyindi-client

Python binding to the libindi library

...It uses the Simplified Wrapper and Interface Generator (SWIG). You may generate a PyIndi module which mainly defines an IndiClient class. This class could be used to build python scripts able to interact with indi servers using sendNew* methods and implementing new* methods of the BaseMediator class. PyQt applications may also be built on top of IndiClient, thus allowing rapid development of GUI Indi clients. Besides Python there are also bindings for node.js, Tcl (incomplete) and PHP (not useful). As application examples you will find a Python Websocket server with which you may build a web application interacting with Indi servers, and a simple PyQt application similar to the Kstars Indi Control Panel (was built as an exercise). ...

    InferSent

    InferSent

    InferSent sentence embeddings

...Trained on large NLI datasets, the embeddings generalize across tasks like sentiment analysis, entailment, paraphrase detection, and semantic similarity with simple linear classifiers. The repository provides pretrained vectors, training scripts, and clear examples for evaluating transfer on a wide suite of benchmarks. Because the encoder is compact and language-agnostic at the interface level, it’s easy to drop into production pipelines that need robust semantic features. InferSent helped popularize the idea that supervised objectives (like NLI) can yield strong general-purpose sentence encoders, and it remains a reliable baseline against which to compare newer models.

    PyRobot

    PyRobot

An Open Source Robotics Research Platform

PyRobot is a high-level robotics API that simplifies controlling real and simulated robots through a consistent Python interface. Instead of fighting ROS internals, you call clear methods for things like base navigation, arm manipulation, and camera capture, and PyRobot handles the plumbing. It was built to make research repeatable on accessible platforms—most notably low-cost mobile manipulators—while still scaling to richer hardware. The library exposes canonical abstractions (base, arm,...

    MUSE

    MUSE

A library for Multilingual Unsupervised or Supervised word Embeddings

...It supports both supervised alignment with seed dictionaries and unsupervised alignment that starts without parallel data by using adversarial initialization followed by Procrustes refinement. The code can align pre-trained monolingual embeddings (such as fastText) across dozens of languages and provides standardized evaluation scripts and dictionaries. By mapping languages into a common vector space, MUSE makes it straightforward to build cross-lingual applications where resources are scarce for some languages. The training and evaluation pipeline is lightweight and fast, so experimenting with different languages or initialization strategies is easy. Beyond dictionary induction, the learned embeddings are often used as building blocks for downstream tasks like classification, retrieval, or machine translation.

    PyTorch pretrained BigGAN

    PyTorch pretrained BigGAN

PyTorch implementation of BigGAN with pretrained weights

...This repository contains an op-for-op PyTorch reimplementation of DeepMind's BigGAN that was released with the paper Large Scale GAN Training for High Fidelity Natural Image Synthesis. This PyTorch implementation of BigGAN is provided with the pretrained 128x128, 256x256 and 512x512 models by DeepMind. We also provide the scripts used to download and convert these models from the TensorFlow Hub models. This reimplementation was done from the raw computation graph of the Tensorflow version and behave similarly to the TensorFlow version (variance of the output difference of the order of 1e-5). This implementation currently only contains the generator as the weights of the discriminator were not released (although the structure of the discriminator is very similar to the generator so it could be added pretty easily.

    reditools

RNA editing detection by NGS data

REDItools are python scripts developed with the aim to study RNA editing at genomic scale by next generation sequencing data. RNA editing is a post-transcriptional phenomenon involving the insertion/deletion or substitution of specific bases in precise RNA localizations. In human, RNA editing occurs by deamination of cytosine to uridine (C-to-U) or mostly by the adenosine to inosine (A-to-I) conversion through ADAR enzymes.

    pangu.py

    pangu.py

    Paranoid text spacing in Python

pangu.py is a Python port of the Pangu spacing tool that automatically inserts proper whitespace between CJK characters and Latin letters, numbers, or symbols. Mixed-script text often becomes cramped or ambiguous, and this library applies simple but effective typography rules to make it instantly more readable. It works both as a Python library and a command-line utility, so you can process strings in code, tidy files in bulk, or wire it into documentation and build pipelines. The...

Tacotron-2 is a TensorFlow implementation of DeepMind’s Tacotron-2 end-to-end text-to-speech architecture, which predicts mel spectrograms from raw text and then feeds them to a neural vocoder such as WaveNet. It reproduces the original paper’s hyperparameters exactly via paper_hparams.py, while also offering a tuned hparams.py with extra improvements that often yield better audio quality in practice. The repository is structured as a full training pipeline: dataset preparation,...

    Video Nonlocal Net

Non-local Neural Networks for Video Classification

video-nonlocal-net implements Non-local Neural Networks for video understanding, adding long-range dependency modeling to 2D/3D ConvNet backbones. Non-local blocks compute attention-like responses across all positions in space-time, allowing a feature at one frame and location to aggregate information from distant frames and regions. This formulation improves action recognition and spatiotemporal reasoning, especially for classes requiring context beyond short temporal windows. The repo...

    Finetune Transformer LM

Code for "Improving Language Understanding by Generative Pre-Training"

...It documents that runs are non-deterministic due to certain GPU operations and reports a median accuracy over multiple trials that is slightly below the single-run result in the paper, reflecting expected variance in practice. The project ships lightweight training, data, and analysis scripts, keeping the footprint small while making the experimental pipeline transparent. It is provided as archived, research-grade code intended for replication and study rather than continuous development.

Code for reproducing key results in the paper

...That extra incentive encourages the generator to structure its latent space in a way where certain latent variables control meaningful, distinct factors (e.g. rotation, width, stroke thickness) in the output images. The repository includes code for experiments (e.g. on MNIST), launcher scripts, and some tests. It depends on a development version of TensorFlow (the code expects features not in older stable releases), and also uses other libraries like prettytensor and progressbar.
