    Crunch

    Crunch

Insane(ly slow but wicked good) PNG image optimization

...Using a combination of selective bit depth, color palette reduction and color type, as well as zopfli DEFLATE compression algorithm encoding that employs the pngquant and zopflipng PNG optimization tools, Crunch is effectively able to optimize and compress images with minimal decrease in image quality. While it may produce file size gains larger than those produced by lossless approaches, the impact on image quality is often imperceptible, and optimized file sizes are still significantly lower than the original.

    Image GPT

    Image GPT

Large-scale autoregressive pixel model for image generation by OpenAI

...It provides scripts to download pretrained checkpoints of different model sizes (small, medium, large) trained on large-scale datasets and includes utilities for handling color quantization with a 9-bit palette. Researchers can use the code to sample new images, evaluate generative loss on datasets like ImageNet or CIFAR-10, and explore the impact of scaling on performance. While the repository is archived and provided as-is, it remains a valuable starting point for experimenting with autoregressive transformers applied directly to raw pixel data. By demonstrating GPT’s flexibility across modalities, Image-GPT influenced subsequent multimodal generative research.

    Frontend Regression Validator (FRED)

    Frontend Regression Validator (FRED)

Visual regression tool used to compare baseline and updated instances

...The visual analysis computes the Normalized Mean Squared error and the Structural Similarity Index on the screenshots of the baseline and updated sites, while the visual AI looks at layout and content changes independently by applying image segmentation Machine Learning techniques to recognize high-level text and image visual structures. This reduces the impact of dynamic content yielding false positives. FRED is designed to be scalable. It has an internal queue and can process websites in parallel depending on the amount of RAM and CPUs (or GPUs) available.

    EducationalLCS

eLCS - Educational Learning Classifier System

...Each eLCS implementations (from demo 2 up to demo 6) progressively add major components of the entire LCS algorithm in order to illustrate how work, how they are coded, and what impact they have on how an LCS algorithm runs. The Demo 6 version of eLCS is most similar to the UCS algorithm. Each version only includes the minimum code needed to perform the functions they were designed for. This way users can start by examining the simplest version of the code and progress forward. This code is intended to be used as an educational tool, or as algorithmic code building blocks.

    WISP

Weighted Implementation of Suboptimal Paths (WISP)

UPDATE: LATEST VERSION AT http://git.durrantlab.com//jdurrant/wisp Allostery can occur by way of subtle cooperation among protein residues (e.g., amino acids) even in the absence of large conformational shifts. Dynamical network analysis has been used to model this cooperation, helping to computationally explain how binding to an allosteric site can impact the behavior of a primary site often many angstroms away. Traditionally, computational efforts have focused on the most optimal path of correlated motions leading from the allosteric to the primary active site. We present a program called Weighted Implementation of Suboptimal Paths (WISP) capable of rapidly identifying additional suboptimal pathways that may also play important roles in the transmission of allosteric signals. ...
