    LLDP Generator

The project is a valid Link Layer Discovery Protocol frame generator

...The purpose of this project is to test the behavior of different LLDP agents in difficult situations. Based on this application, mutiple automated tests can be made for testing the behavior of a LLDP neighbor. Example of tests: 1. Sending a large number of LLDP frames each containing all TLVs, each TLV having a large amount of informations. 2. Sending a large number of LLDP frames at a short interval and inspect the LLDP neighbor's database. 3. Try to overload some TLVs(adding more information than is permited) and inspect neighbor's database.

...Instead of an "assertion" mechanism, it auto-generates a log of the GUI appearance and changes to it. The point is then to use that as a baseline for text-based testing, using e.g. TextTest. It also includes support for instrumenting code so that "waits" can be recorded, making it far easier for a tester to record correctly synchronized tests without having to explicitly plan for this.

    LittleDarwin

    Mutation Analysis Framework for Java

Mutation testing has been proven to be a reliable method to estimate the quality of a test suite. Most of current mutation tools require the architecture of their target system to be in a certain way in order to apply the technique; thus making it impossible to use them in complex build environments. LittleDarwin is a mutation testing tool designed primarily with the premise of easy deployment in complex systems; in order to provide mutation testing where other tools fail.
