DexGuess
A simple game to analyse your skills in number guessing.
The program randomly selects a five digit number. You have to find out that number in the minimum number of logical guesses possible. You will enter a five digit number and the program will tell you if the number is more than, less than or equal to the random number selected by the program. Repeat the process to find the number out. -

Vexed, the classic Palm game made in C# for .NET 4
This is a full remake of the original Vexed for the Palm in the style of the Psion version by Ewan Spence which I loved. All the original level packs are there as well as the features from the Psion version (save/restore state, blocks remaining, undo and solve). It's one of the best puzzle games I've ever played and decided it needed a makeover for Windows. I tried to keep as much distraction out of the games as possible, in part, because I want the kids to focus on learning the tech above being amused. Hopefully kids will quickly learn these techniques and then use them to play some more advanced games.
