    Jupyter Server Proxy

    Jupyter Server Proxy

Jupyter notebook server extension to proxy web services.

Jupyter Server Proxy lets you run arbitrary external processes (such as RStudio, Shiny Server, Syncthing, PostgreSQL, Code Server, etc) alongside your notebook server and provide authenticated web access to them using a path like /rstudio next to others like /lab. Alongside the Python package that provides the main functionality, the JupyterLab extension (@jupyterhub/jupyter-server-proxy) provides buttons in the JupyterLab launcher window to get to RStudio for example.

    Laravel Trusted Proxies

    Laravel Trusted Proxies

Laravel Proxy Package for handling sessions when behind load balancers

Setting a trusted proxy allows for correct URL generation, redirecting, session handling and logging in Laravel when behind a reverse proxy such as a load balancer or cache. Laravel 5.5+ comes with this package. If you are using Laravel 5.5 or greater, you do not need to add this to your project separately. Setting a trusted proxy allows for correct URL generation, redirecting, session handling and logging in Laravel when behind a reverse proxy. This is useful if your web servers sit behind a load balancer (Nginx, HAProxy, Envoy, ELB/ALB, etc), HTTP cache (CloudFlare, Squid, Varnish, etc), or other intermediary (reverse) proxy. Laravel (technically the Symfony HTTP base classes) have a concept of a "trusted proxy", where those X-Forwarded headers will only be used if the source IP address of the request is known. In other words, it only trusts those headers if the proxy is trusted.

Log Analysis Tool Kit - LATK

A tool suite for Log File Analysis

This is a collection of command line and web based tools for use in incident response and long term analysis use as part of ongoing situational awareness. Often when responding to a security incident the only files available are web server and proxy server logs. The tools here will aid you in detecting odd traffic such as botnet beaconing and SQL Injection attempts. The large amount of data can be overwhelming and the tools in the Log Analysis Tool Kit can be used to parse these files and build a MySQL database for querying. Currently the log formats supported are: Proxy Logs: Squid Bluecoat Web Server Logs: Apache IIS Your feedback is always appreciated. Please report any issues or enhancement requests to the author. The tools are written in Python3 and PHP. The tool kit has been tested on Mac OSX and Fedora.

    NGINX Ingress Controller

    NGINX Ingress Controller

    NGINX Ingress Controller for Kubernetes

ingress-nginx is an Ingress controller for Kubernetes using NGINX as a reverse proxy and load balancer. It is built around the Kubernetes Ingress resource, using a ConfigMap to store the NGINX configuration. The goal of this Ingress controller is the assembly of a configuration file (nginx.conf). The main implication of this requirement is the need to reload NGINX after any change in the configuration file. Though it is important to note that we don't reload Nginx on changes that impact only an upstream configuration (i.e Endpoints change when you deploy your app). We use lua-nginx-module to achieve this. Check below to learn more about how it's done. Usually, a Kubernetes Controller utilizes the synchronization loop pattern to check if the desired state in the controller is updated or a change is required. To this purpose, we need to build a model using different objects from the cluster, in particular (in no special order) Ingresses, Services, Endpoints, Secrets, and Configmaps.

    ProxyKit

    ProxyKit

A toolkit to create code-first HTTP reverse proxies on ASP.NET Core

A toolkit to create code-first HTTP Reverse Proxies hosted in ASP.NET Core as middleware. This allows focused code-first proxies that can be embedded in existing ASP.NET Core applications or deployed as a standalone server. Deployable anywhere ASP.NET Core is deployable such as Windows, Linux, Containers and Serverless (with caveats). Having built proxies many times before, I felt it is time to make a package. Forked from ASP.NET labs, it has been heavily modified with a different API, to facilitate a wider variety of proxying scenarios (i.e. routing based on a JWT claim) and interception of the proxy requests/responses for customization of headers and (optionally) request/response bodies. It also uses HttpClientFactory internally that will mitigate against DNS caching issues making it suitable for microservice/container environments.

    Pushpin

    Pushpin

Proxy server for adding push to your API

Pushpin is a proxy server that pins client connections open, making it easy to build real-time API endpoints. Pushpin supports HTTP streaming, HTTP long-polling, and WebSockets. For compatibility with older browsers, it can also translate from SockJS. Clients communicate using your API contract. Pushpin is a server-side implementation detail. An existing real-time API can be migrated to or away from Pushpin without breaking clients. Since Pushpin is a proxy server, the backend can be written in any language. Convenience libraries are available to make integration easy. With Pushpin, API management systems can manage real-time endpoints. Authentication, analytics, etc. work as you'd expect. Pushpin listens on port 7999. Edit the routes file to point traffic to your backend. Make an endpoint on the backend that responds with instructional HTTP headers.

    Reproxy

    Reproxy

Simple edge server / reverse proxy

Reproxy is a simple edge HTTP(s) server / reverse proxy supporting various providers (docker, static, file, consul catalog). One or more providers supply information about the requested server, requested URL, destination URL, and health check URL. It is distributed as a single binary or as a docker container. Both HTTP and HTTPS are supported. For HTTPS, static certificates can be used as well as automated ACME (Let’s Encrypt) certificates. An optional assets server can be used to serve static files. Starting reproxy requires at least one provider defined. The rest of the parameters are strictly optional and have sane default.
