Windows Dev Box Setup Scripts is a Microsoft-maintained collection of PowerShell “recipes” and helper scripts that automate and streamline provisioning a Windows developer workstation for many common stacks (desktop .NET/C++, web/Node, machine learning, DevOps, containers, and more). The project uses Chocolatey and Boxstarter under the hood and exposes one-click Boxstarter links and standalone scripts so you can boot a machine, install SDKs, runtimes, tooling, and manage reboots unattended. Scripts are organized as high-level recipes (for example: Full Desktop App, Web, Web + NodeJS, Machine Learning, DevOps/Azure) which call smaller helper scripts stored in a scripts/ folder so recipes stay readable and easy to customize. The README documents how to run recipes, notes for WSL users, guidance for organizational or classroom use (including ways to adapt scripts to air-gapped environments), and known issues and workarounds encountered with the Boxstarter web launcher.

The EditorConfig plugin for Vim allows Vim to respect and apply coding style preferences defined in .editorconfig files. It handles properties like indentation, line endings, and character sets, helping maintain consistent code styles across different editors and IDEs. You can disable this plugin for a specific buffer by setting b: EditorConfig_disable. Therefore, you can disable the plugin for all buffers of a specific filetype. In very rare cases, you might need to override some project-specific EditorConfig rules in global or local vimrc in some cases, e.g., to resolve conflicts of trailing whitespace trimming and buffer autosaving. git-secrets is a Git extension that helps prevent secrets—API keys, credentials, tokens, private keys—from being accidentally committed into version control. It works by applying configurable regular-expression patterns over commit contents (and merge history) and rejecting commits or merges that violate the policy. The tool includes hooks that integrate into git commit and git merge, as well as commands to list, add, or remove secret patterns, and to scan existing history for leaks. Teams often deploy it as part of their developer toolchain to enforce a security guardrail: you catch leaks early rather than discovering them later. It is also often used in CI pipelines or continuous code quality checks to detect in-flight vulnerabilities. While git-secrets is not a full secrets management system, it plays a key role in defense-in-depth by preventing accidental exposure in source.

Node.js version management: no subshells, no profile setup, no convoluted API, just simple. n is not supported natively on Windows. There are a variety of ways of specifying the target Node.js version for n commands. Most commands use the latest matching version, and n ls-remote lists multiple matching versions. n downloads a prebuilt Node.js package and installs to a single prefix (e.g. /usr/local). This overwrites the previous version. The bin folder in this location should be in your PATH (e.g. /usr/local/bin). The downloads are kept in a cache folder to be used for reinstalls. The downloads are also available for limited use using n which and n run and n exec. The global npm packages are not changed by the install, with the exception of npm itself which is part of the Node.js install.

PowerCat is a compact PowerShell implementation of netcat-style networking utilities that makes it easy to create TCP/UDP clients and listeners, forward ports, and move data between sockets and files. It provides both interactive shells and single-command execution modes so operators can create bind shells, reverse shells, or simple file upload/download endpoints using only PowerShell. The tool supports encrypted connections (SSL/TLS) and can act as a basic SOCKS proxy or relay, enabling flexible pivot and tunneling workflows. PowerCat is implemented as a single, portable PowerShell script that favors minimal dependencies and is convenient to drop into a target or use from an admin workstation. Because it reimplements low-level socket behavior in managed code it is especially useful in Windows environments where native tools like netcat are unavailable or restricted.

sRDI is a compact project that implements a shellcode form of Reflective DLL Injection, enabling DLLs to be converted into position-independent shellcode and loaded in memory by a small in-process PE loader. The codebase groups a C implementation of a reflective PE loader with multiple loader/wrapper components (native C loader, a .NET loader, Python and PowerShell conversion helpers) so authors can produce and embed sRDI blobs in different environments. The loader aims to behave like a proper PE loader: it preserves section permissions, supports TLS callbacks, performs sanity checks, and exposes flags to control behaviors such as header clearing, memory wiping, import obfuscation, and whether the shellcode receives the base address. The repository also provides utility scripts to convert DLL binaries into embedded blobs and to update static encodings used by the supplied loaders.

This application connects to the tranmission web client using the RPC interface, it allows the user to set the inital download folder for the torrents for sorting into their own folders based on the type of file it is. it also allows scheduling of the cleaning process eithe daily or weekly at a time set by you in the install process. you supply your username and password for the RPC web interface whohc is encrypted by the application and saved to the disk, The application checks if the torrent is completed, finished seeding and the sorts the files in to correct folder e.g a video into the media folder, MP3 on music folder etc. On windows there is a full shortcuts to reset the RPC credentails, run a manual cleanup, uninstall and also view log file. Application for both macOS and windows have undergone extensive testing before being released.

A single fact determines the starting point of configuration, and that fact can be the same regardless of whether the software is running standalone under a logged-in user's account, or launched from another program with debugger access, or as a service or daemon, or even as a component within a dynamically linked library.
