This package is a VLF receiver for monitoring VLF transmitter signals for evidence of transients indicating ionospheric disturbances, usually caused by x-ray bursts from the sun. sidmon is a python program for receiving and recording submarine-transmitter signal intensities and directions in the VLF frequency range using a computer sound card.
