    gVirtualXRay

    gVirtualXRay

    Virtual X-Ray Imaging Library on GPU

    gVirtualXRay is a C++ library to simulate X-ray imaging. It is based on the Beer-Lambert law to compute the absorption of light (i.e. photons) by 3D objects (here polygon meshes). It is implemented on the graphics processing unit (GPU) using the OpenGL Shading Language (GLSL). SimpleGVXR is a smaller library build on the top of gVirtualXRay. It provides wrappers to Python, R, Ruby, Tcl, C#, Java, and GNU Octave.

    C++QED

    C++QED

    A framework for simulating open quantum dynamics

    C++QED is an application-programming framework for simulating open quantum dynamics in general. It has demonstrated the ability to simulate full Master equation of up to several thousand, and quantum trajectories of up to several hundred thousand dimensions. The basic idea is to allow users to build arbitrarily complex interacting quantum systems out of free subsystems and interactions (elements), and simulate their time evolution with a number of available time-evolution...

    pyLuminous

    python modules for modelling some optical systems.

    This project is a collection of python modules for modelling various optical systems. It presently consists of pyFresnel and pyQW. pyFresnel models optical properties of dielectric layers and includes a thin film model (unlike the many other codes out there this can also handle uniaxial layers as long as the optical axis is aligned with the stack growth direction). pyQW models very simple (n-doped) quantum well structures and their intersubband transitions.

    cphcttoolbox

    Cph CT Toolbox is a selection of Computed Tomography tools

    Copenhagen Computed Tomography Toolbox is a collection of applications and libraries for flexible and efficient CT reconstruction. The toolbox apps generally take a set of projections (X-ray intensity measurements) and filter and back project them in order to recreate the image or volume that the projections represent. The project includes both mostly informative CPU implementations and highly efficient GPU implementations. Regular releases are hosted at the Python Package Index.

    SPIW - Scanning Probe Image Wizard

    SPIW - Scanning Probe Image Wizard

    Scanning Probe Image Wizard - MATLAB Toolbox

    ...Tools are applicable to all SPM images, but the main focus is on images with atomic or molecular resolution. SPIW is primarily a MATLAB toolbox with functions designed to be called in a user's own script. SPIW also has a very basic GUI for browsing and exporting images. For information on SPIW's performance see our publication ( http://dx.doi.org/10.1063/1.4827076 ) in the Review of Scientific Instruments. A related open-source project SPIEPy (https://pypi.python.org/pypi/SPIEPy/) is developing a python library to for automated SPM imaged enhancement. ...

    ThermV

    Comprehensive thermal analysis software package

    ...It offers new algorithm for concurrent peak deconvolution at different heating rates and provides full kinetic analysis of these data, including isoconversional methods for Ea, determination of reaction model and full kinetic triplet, Avrami coefficients, and dimensionality of crystal growth for reactions in the solid state. The project is currently in alpha stage, where individual modules will be provided for data analysis. The modules for peak deconvolution, peak profile analysis and determination of Ea and lnA will be provided first. Full GUI will be provided in beta stage. Due to computational limitations, the code is partly programmed in Python and partly in R. ...

    Larch: Data Analysis for X-ray Spectra

    Data Processing and Analysis for X-ray Spectroscopy and More

    Larch is a scientific data processing language that is designed to be easy to use for novices and complete enough for advanced data processing and analysis. Larch provides a wide range of functionality for dealing with arrays of scientific data, and basic tools to make it easy to use and organize complex data. Larch has been primarily developed for dealing with x-ray spectroscopic and scattering data, especially the kind of data collected at modern synchrotrons and x-ray sources. Larch is written in Python and relies heavily on the standard tools for scientific computing with Python (numpy, scipy, matplotlib, and h5py).
