...As postprocess results, the aerodynamic parameters of the airfoil, e.g., lift coefficient and drag coefficient, can be integrated from the airflow distribution near wall boundary. In addition, the coupling between airflow and heat transfer and the effect of surface roughness on near wall flow are considered by this program, it can be used for engineering calculation of the friction drag and heat transfer coefficients on airfoil surface. RANSFOIL reads coordinates data from a 1D XYZ file which describes the grid points or control points on airfoil as only input, then outputs grid and solution files in 2D PLOT3D format to record grid coordinates and airflow data and a report file to show aerodynamic parameters.

Cosmic ray electrons scatter on the photon fields around stars, including the sun, to create gamma rays by the inverse Compton effect. This program computes the spectrum and angular distribution of this emission. The software also includes general-purpose routines for inverse Compton scattering on a given electron spectrum, for example for interstellar or astrophysical source modelling. InterferenceSimulator is a program demonstrating quantal two-slit Fresnel interference patterns with one, the other, or both slits open. A magnetic flux situated between the two slits allows demonstration of the Aharonov–Bohm effect. Simulations with short de Broglie wavelengths illustrate the classical limit of quantum mechanics. Because of the universality of wave phenomena, this program can also demonstrate the geometrical-optics limit of wave optics for small wavelengths.

PySpline is a graphical, cross-platform program for processing X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) and Extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) data. It allows processing parameters to be adjusted and observe the effect on R-space data.
