gVirtualXRay is a C++ library to simulate X-ray imaging. It is based on the Beer-Lambert law to compute the absorption of light (i.e. photons) by 3D objects (here polygon meshes). It is implemented on the graphics processing unit (GPU) using the OpenGL Shading Language (GLSL).
SimpleGVXR is a smaller library build on the top of gVirtualXRay. It provides wrappers to Python, R, Ruby, Tcl, C#, Java, and GNU Octave.
Scanning Probe Microscopy Controller and Data Visualization Software
GXSM -- Gnome X Scanning Microscopy: A multi-channel image and vector-probe data acquisition and visualization system designed for SPM techniques (STM,AFM..), but also SPA-LEED/LEED/LEEM data analysis. A plug-in interface allows any user add-on data-processing and special hardware and instrument support. Latest: NC-AFM and related explorative methods as SQDM can be configured. High-Speed external PAC-PLL hardware option with digital DSP link.
Based on several hardware options it supports...

gMol is an interactive visualization system used to display and manipulate 3-dimensional models of scientific data, such as molecular structures and surfaces. It contains both OpenGL and web browser widgets that enable flexible user interfaces.
Magneticle is a 3D OpenGL physical simulation that applies the Biot-Savart law to charged particles operating inside a magnetic field produced by a current-carrying wire modeled as an arbitrary space curve.
GLUI is a GLUT-based C++ user interface library which provides controls such as buttons, checkboxes, radio buttons, and spinners to OpenGL applications. It is window-system independent, using GLUT or FreeGLUT.
Remember when you wrote your games in Pascal? Well continue that fine tradition by using JEDI-SDL! Which works with Delphi, Kylix, Free Pascal, Gnu Pascal and TMT Pascal. Cross-platform game develpment has never been easier!
This library is a Fortran 95 gnuplot interface for some Unix like OS'es. This provides some routines that enables direct access of a child gnuplot session from a Fortran 95 program. You will need a copy of fortranposix to make this work.
