Asymptote is a powerful descriptive vector graphics language for technical drawing, inspired by MetaPost but with an improved C++-like syntax. Asymptote provides for figures the same high-quality typesetting that LaTeX does for scientific text.

CutePy is a lightweight Qt-based Python 3 console with variable explorer, command history, syntax highlighting and customizable startup script. Originally it was developed for simple scientific calculations as a replacement for e.g. Windows calculator or Python IDLE. Zephyr is a script-driven experiment automation program that works various measurement instruments and actuators. It supports instruments from Agilent, Eco Physics, ICS Electronics, Keithley, Omega, Teledyne and other manufacturers. The script language is XML-based. Syntax highlighting is available.
