Wherever possible, Volocian™ relies on free, open source, and cross-platform software to prevent vendor lock-in, planned obsolescence, and software as a service licensing. While we remain pragmatic about the use of proprietary software, as we’re aware of the feature limitations of some open source solutions, free solutions are preferred.

Atar8 Tools is a collection Atari 8-bit related of command line tools for Posix compatible environments: - Franny is an ATR disk image editor. Supports AtariDOS II disk format (partially) and SpartaDos 2 disk format. - Yvonne is an Atari picture viewer / converter. - ZooEY is a cross assembler designed for 6502 processors. sPhoto is a very simple free, open-source, cross-platform application for bulk (batch) photo editing. If you have hundreeds of photos you can easily resize or rename them or add watermark. Every change you make you see in the preview. Or you can crop or rotate a single photo. And when you press start it converts all your photos as you saw in the preview. This is a photo editing application for Symbian, written in Qt. It's especially designed for the Pureview 808 smartphone. It lets you edit photographs up to very high resolutions.
