Dependencies
A rewrite of the old legacy software "depends.exe" in C# for Windows
Dependencies is a rewrite of the legacy software Dependency Walker which was shipped along Windows SDKs, but whose development stopped around 2006. Dependencies can help Windows developers troubleshooting their dll load dependencies issues. Dependencies is currently shipped as two binaries (no installer present) : Dependencies.exe as a CLI tool and DependenciesGui.exe for its GUI counterpart (see screenshot). Just click on one of the release numbers above (preferably the latest), download and uncompress the archive and run DependenciesGui.exe. Since the binary is not signed, SmartScreen might scream at runtime. Dependencies also bundle ClrPhTester.exe, a dumpbin-like executable used to test for non-regressions. Dependencies currently does not recursively resolve child imports when parsing a new PE since it can be really memory-hungry to do so ( it can over a GB even for "simple" PEs ). -

PerfView is a CPU and memory performance-analysis tool
PerfView is a free performance analysis tool that helps isolate CPU and memory-related performance issues. It is a Windows tool, but it also has some support for analyzing data collected on Linux machines. It works for a wide variety of scenarios, but has a number of special features for investigating performance issues in code written for the .NET runtime. If you are unfamiliar with PerfView, there are PerfView video tutorials. Also, Vance Morrison's blog gives an overview and getting started information. PerfView is built on a library called Microsoft.Diagnostics.Tracing.TraceEvent, which knows how to both collect and parse Event Tracing for Windows (ETW) data. sysbench
Scriptable database and system performance benchmark
sysbench is a scriptable multi-threaded benchmark tool based on LuaJIT. It is most frequently used for database benchmarks, but can also be used to create arbitrarily complex workloads that do not involve a database server. extensive statistics about rate and latency is available, including latency percentiles and histograms. Low overhead even with thousands of concurrent threads. sysbench is capable of generating and tracking hundreds of millions of events per second. New benchmarks can be easily created by implementing pre-defined hooks in user-provided Lua scripts. Can be used as a general-purpose Lua interpreter as well, simply replace #!/usr/bin/lua with #!/usr/bin/sysbench in your script. Execute events for this many seconds with statistics disabled before the actual benchmark run with statistics enabled. This is useful when you want to exclude the initial period of a benchmark run from statistics. -

Nishang is a framework and collection of scripts and payloads which enables usage of PowerShell for offensive security, penetration testing and red teaming. Nishang is useful during all phases of penetration testing. Import all the scripts in the current PowerShell session (PowerShell v3 onwards). Use the individual scripts with dot sourcing. Note that the help is available for the function loaded after running the script and not the script itself since version 0.3.8. In all cases, the function name is same as the script name. Nishang scripts are flagged by many Anti Viruses as malicious. The scrripts on a target are meant to be used in memory which is very easy to do with PowerShell. Two basic methods to execute PowerShell scripts in memory. Use the in-memory dowload and execute: Use below command to execute a PowerShell script from a remote shell, meterpreter native shell, a web shell etc. and the function exported by it. -

RSpec Rails brings the RSpec testing framework to Ruby on Rails as a drop-in alternative to its default testing framework, Minitest. In RSpec, tests are not just scripts that verify your application code. They’re also specifications (or specs, for short): detailed explanations of how the application is supposed to behave, expressed in plain English. RSpec follows semantic versioning, which means that “major version” upgrades (e.g., 2.x → 3.x) come with breaking changes. If you’re upgrading from version 2.x or below, read the rspec-rails upgrade notes to find out what to watch out for. In RSpec, assertions are called expectations, and every expectation is built around a matcher. When you expect(a).to eq(b), you’re using the eq matcher. RSpec Rails defines ten different types of specs for testing different parts of a typical Rails application. Each one inherits from one of Rails’ built-in TestCase classes, meaning the helper methods provided by default in Rails tests are available. -

A simple CLI tool for ensuring that a given script runs continuously (i.e. forever). Note that this project currently fully depends on the community for implementing fixes and new features. For new installations we encourage you to use pm2 or nodemon. If you are using forever programmatically you should install forever-monitor. There are two ways to use forever: through the command line or by using forever in your code. Note: If you are using forever programatically you should install forever-monitor. You can use forever to run scripts continuously (whether it is written in node.js or not). In addition to passing forever the path to a script (along with accompanying options, described above), you may also pass forever the path to a JSON file containing these options. The forever module exposes some useful methods to use in your code. Each method returns an instance of an EventEmitter which emits when complete. -

Ethr is a cross-platform network performance measurement tool written in golang. The goal of this project is to provide a native tool for comprehensive network performance measurements of bandwidth, connections/s, packets/s, latency, loss & jitter, across multiple protocols such as TCP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, and across multiple platforms such as Windows, Linux and other Unix systems. Ethr takes inspiration from existing open-source network performance tools and builds upon those ideas. For Bandwidth measurement, it is similar to iPerf3, for TCP & UDP traffic. iPerf3 has many more options for doing such as throttled testing, richer feature set, while Ethr has support for multiple threads, which allows it to scale to 1024 or even higher number of connections, multiple clients communication to a single server etc. For latency measurements, it is similar to latte on Windows or sockperf on Linux. -

We provide MATLAB and Verilog Models of GeAr, and previously proposed adders (ACA-I, ETAII, ACA-II and GDA) at http://sourceforge.net/projects/approxadderlib/ GeAr is a low latency Generic Accuracy Configurable Adder that provides a higher number of potential configurations compared to state-of-the-art approximate adders, thus enabling a high degree of flexibility and trade-off between performance and output quality. These MATALB and Verilog models can allow software programmer as well as hardware designers to evaluate their code and design. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first open-source library of approximate adders that facilitates reproducible comparisons and further research and development in this direction across various layers of design abstraction. This work is a result of collaborative effort between Chair for Embedded Systems (CES) at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany and Vision Image and Signal Processing (VISpro) Lab at SEECS-NUST, Pakistan. -
