A plugin to allow KeePass to synchronize with other file formats
This is a plugin to KeePass <http://www.KeePass.info> to synchronisation to non-kdbx formats. This is done either by using a special menu command (under File, Synchronize) or by creating a new Trigger action to perform the synchronisation. In order to be a valid format for synchronisation, the format must support both Import and Export, and must support Uuids. It is recommended, but not required, that it is secured by a composite key (the same key will be used as for the database being synchronised to, as is the case for normal synchronisation). -

MacPassGen
Password generator for Mac OS X written in Objective Python.
There are many password management applications out there, but they all lack a password generator which can create passwords a human can remember easily. PassGen fills this gap with a wide variety of possible password it can create. Among passwords consisting of random letters, numbers and punctuations it can also generate mnemonic passwords consisting of words, numbers and punctuations. These kind of password are also hard to guess, but much more easy to remember for a human brain. -

MD5 hash used to position and color two overlaid Mandelbrot sets.
I'm using an MD5 hash of a username and password field to generate some entropy which is used to generate color pallets and positions / scaling of two Mandelbrot sets. These two images are overlaid to create interesting pictures which represent the entered credentials. I'm interested in all things security, this is mostly just for fun, but could possibly be used to help users identify mistakes in their password entry prior to submission and enforce a tighter failed password lockout policy. mkpass is a simple command line utility to generate secure random passwords. You can easily redirect these to a clipboard or copy and paste as needed. I use a password manager and generate random passwords every time I need one. And while most password managers include a generator, there are times I need one outside of that. The code is written in java so it should run on any OS that supports it. Lastly, the idea and core code came from a Wikipedia article.
