CB2XML (CopyBook to XML) is a COBOL CopyBook to XML converter written in Java and based on the SableCC parser generator. Fastjson is a Java library that can be used to quickly convert Java Objects into their JSON representation or convert JSON strings to their equivalent Java object. Based on benchmarks it provides the best performance in both server side and Android client, and can work with arbitrary Java objects, even those pre-existing objects of which you do not have the source code. Fastjson provides a simple conversion method to turn Java objects to JSON and vice versa, with extensive support of Java Generics and arbitrarily complex objects.

Coco/S is a compiler generator that takes plain EBNF grammar files and features a SAX style call back API. It is written in Java and produces a Java Scanner (Lexer) and Parser for the language described by the input grammar. Coco/S is a branch of the 2010/11 release of Coco/R for Java. While Coco/R takes an attributed grammar file, Coco/S has a callback API. This has the advantage of a clean separation between grammar (EBNF) and Compiler/Interpreter.
