2.5D CAD CAM emphasis on CAM and toolpaths
A Windows only 2.5D CAD CAM application. The user experience tightly integrates the CAM aspects when doing design and layout. The target users will layout their design and then immediately generate CNC code. The goal is a design application closer to Adobe Illustrator than to AutoCAD. The user specifies machining aspects during object creation so that when the design/layout phase is completed the toolpath generation can occur automatically. What is 2.5D? Objects created are flat (2D) but have a depth component. So you can create a square that will be machined at a specific depth but the depth will be constant accross the square. It is not/does not: A general purpose CAD (AutoCAD) type program. Support reference dimension on the drawing. Export or import major CAD file formats.

A canvas library for generating technical drawings
The ADG library (Automatic Drawing Generation) is a set of functions focused on automating the drawing of mechanical parts. It is not a CAD system but a GObject-based library where a custom application can put common CAD entities such as paths, hatches and dimensions, to automatically create technical drawings. A demo application is provided in order to show the capabilities of the canvas. Although it is possible to interact with the library directly in C (that is what the adg-demo program is doing), the canvas is expected to be used from higher level languages, much in the same way as what done in the GNOME stack. Lua bindings based on LGI are already provided out of the box. The adg-lua project, downloadable from the "Files" section, provides Lua programs and demos that leverages these bindings.

Work Efficiency Maximize Framework: Analyze work and line processes
- Work in 2013 - The WEMax proposes a framework for the continuous performance improvement of manufacturing lines. The WEMax framework consists of two main activities: 1) assembly work process improvement, including time and motion study, and 2) improvement of line balance efficiency. Although there have been numerous studies on this topic, most of them deal with partial issues rather than the continuous performance improvement of the whole assembly line, which this paper addresses. To develop the framework, WEMax categorized a manned assembly line into five analysis levels (workstation, worker, operation cycle, work element, and unit motion), and identified user requirements on each level. Among these five, the workstation level supports line balancing, while the other four (worker, operation cycle, work element, and unit motion) address work process improvement. The WEMax framework has been implemented and tested with various examples from Korean assembly-line-based manufacturers.
