The Heirloom Project provides standard Unix utilities.
Concurrent Data Structure library
CDS (Concurrent Data Structures) is a C++ template library of lock-free and fine-grained lock-based algorithms. It contains a collection of concurrent data structures: queues, stacks, sets, maps, etc, and safe memory reclamation schema for concurrent containers - Hazard Pointer and user-space RCU. See doxygen doc http://libcds.sourceforge.net/doc/cds-api/index.html. The source code repo for libcds 2.x has been moved to https://github.com/khizmax/libcds
A system for computer algebra and symbolic mathematics
OpenAxiom is an open source Computer Algebra System. It offers an interactive environment, an expressive programming language, a compiler, a large set of mathematical libraries of interest to researchers and practitioners of computational sciences.
Tpl makes it easy to serialize your C data using just a handful of API functions. The data is stored in its native binary form for maximum efficiency. C, Perl and XML supported. Data is portable across CPU types and OS's from Unix to Mac to Windows.
The main goal of this project is to provide collaboration and code sharing for new code that is related to BSD.
Pascal Units for Medical Applications
The PUMA Repository is a collection of Pascal units for medical informatics. It contains reusable source code for a wide field of health-care application development. The code includes converting functions for measurement units and an HL7 engine. PUMA is compatible with Lazarus and Free Pascal. Some of the units also support other Pascal implementations including Delphi, winsoft Pocket Studio and other compilers.
nwcc is a C compiler for Unix systems targeting *BSD, OSX, Linux and Solaris on x86 (nasm/gas), FreeBSD, OSX and Linux on AMD64 (yasm/gas), Solaris on SPARC, AIX and Linux on PPC/PPC64 and IRIX on MIPS64. Cross-compilation is supported.
The project is to develop an application for the general management of virtual networks with Dynamips, VirtualBox, PixEmulator, UML, Zebra, etc.
Plushs allows a user to resolve the names of a single IP address or entire network of addresses to maintain a "map" of the names that comprise a certain network.
Angst is an active sniffer, based on libpcap and libnet. Dumps into a file the payload of all the TCP packets received on the specified ports. Also, it implements methods for active sniffing of networks with switches.
Extended C Library
Why Is libxc needed? There doesn't exist a library for ANSI C99 for common data containers, such as vectors, trees, etc. There also also doesn't exist a library for common functionality, such as error reporting/logging, string functions, configuration management (reading config files), etc... The programmer working in C doesn't have anything analogous to the Boost C++ library. The extended C library is intended to make some headway into providing this functionality. To ensure unrestricted usage the libxc project is provided under the very permissive BSD license. If you need a different license then please send me a request (lelanthran at gmail) and I'll do my best to satisfy your request. What's completed? As of writing, the following libraries have been written and tested: 1. Memory accounting/tracking 2. String operations 3. Vectors 4. Trees 5. Dictionary arrays 6. Configuration management See the wiki page for more information
Command validation tool
cmdok checks that specified commands are OK. If command is OK than it exists in PATH and can be run. It is a simple, small and portable Bash script. It is useful in software packages that want to check that some commands exist before trying to run them. See wiki for more information and examples.
Repository of useful stuff extracted from Django
A fast, unobtrusive and modern cross-platform GUI toolkit. Agar fully exploits hardware acceleration where available, but also supports simple frame-buffer interfaces. Agar is stand-alone and easily portable to new platforms and graphics systems.
The Alhacen Ray Tracer is an open source real time ray tracer aimed at achieving competitive 3d graphics performance on everyday computers while allowing for dynamic reflections and global illumination. It is written in the C programming language.
The Application Server Development Library is a generic component modules library for application server/services & software development on the Windows & Linux & BSD platforms. It can be used for rapid developing network application and generic software.
CSPN(Cryptanalysis of Substitution-Permutation Networks) is the Crypto(Cryptography) tool that will be used for Linear and differential Cryptanalysis of AES,DES and all the encryption standards that will have the SPN as its skeleton model.
Containment Domains are a framework for computational resiliency
CDs can be thought of as a mechanism to support fine-grained, hierarchical, application-directed, uncoordinated checkpoint and restore. Containment Domains (CDs) were created to allow an application to recover in the face of various types of component failures, including hard (e.g. persistent) and soft (e.g. transient) hardware failures, transient software failures, and complete node failures.
Data Type Definition System
DTDS is a system of definition of data types for unification of information exchange with use of different Samond Classes Library functions and for generation of source texts based on the completed data type definition
