  • libjpeg-turbo Icon

    libjpeg-turbo

    SIMD-accelerated libjpeg-compatible JPEG codec library

libjpeg-turbo is a JPEG image codec that uses SIMD instructions (MMX, SSE2, NEON, AltiVec) to accelerate baseline JPEG compression and decompression on x86, x86-64, ARM, and PowerPC systems. On such systems, libjpeg-turbo is generally 2-6x as fast as libjpeg, all else being equal. On other types of systems, libjpeg-turbo can still outperform libjpeg by a significant amount, by virtue of its highly-optimized Huffman coding routines. In many cases, the performance of libjpeg-turbo rivals that of proprietary high-speed JPEG codecs. libjpeg-turbo implements both the traditional libjpeg API as well as the less powerful but more straightforward TurboJPEG API. libjpeg-turbo also features colorspace extensions that allow it to compress from/decompress to 32-bit and big-endian pixel buffers (RGBX, XBGR, etc.), as well as a full-featured Java interface.

  • Extended C Library

    Extended C Library

Why Is libxc needed? There doesn't exist a library for ANSI C99 for common data containers, such as vectors, trees, etc. There also also doesn't exist a library for common functionality, such as error reporting/logging, string functions, configuration management (reading config files), etc... The programmer working in C doesn't have anything analogous to the Boost C++ library. The extended C library is intended to make some headway into providing this functionality. To ensure unrestricted usage the libxc project is provided under the very permissive BSD license. If you need a different license then please send me a request (lelanthran at gmail) and I'll do my best to satisfy your request. What's completed? As of writing, the following libraries have been written and tested: 1. Memory accounting/tracking 2. String operations 3. Vectors 4. Trees 5. Dictionary arrays 6. Configuration management See the wiki page for more information

The Centre d'Informations (CI) aim is to articulate and display whatever type of knowledge available on a given field (see screenshots examples for various fields). The software is built as a network of information articulated using concepts (figure). The website should not be understood as a conventional search engine but as different ways to navigate within this knowledge (information and concept) network. Each information is thoroughly formalized; the aim is not exhaustivity or information amount but rather information quality so as to ensure the best possible articulation within the existing network (quality of the network) and ensure the subject diversity so as to cover the field with robustness.

  • HSxmlMaker

Create HyperSpin XML lists quickly and easily

HyperSpin uses XML lists to populate selectable platform and genre games. While very large lists are publicly available from HyperList, these lists usually have way more games than desired and are difficult to edit manually. This program allows the user to create a text file listing genres and "match lines" under each genre that the user desires HyperSpin to display. The match lines are typically regular expressions, that are matched against a master xml file with all possible games desired. The program allows numerous options to deviate from strict regex processing or other unique ways to match helpful for the end purpose of quickly making the lists you want. For instance, options can be applied to a genre line, which automatically applies those options to all its match lines. See readme.txt with distribution or check the wiki for more information. For the more user-friendly GUI for this program, see: http://sourceforge.net/projects/hsxmlmakergui/?source=directory
