For gross-error detection, the software supports common outliers tests (based on hypothesis testing) and robust L1 norm (BIBER estimator). Moreover, the software supports deformation-analysis on the observation level. This network adjustment application supports classic observations: - Distances 2D/3D, - Directions and/or azimuths, - Zenith angles, - Levelling difference as well as - GNSS-baselines 1D, 2D and 3D. IQM is an image processing application written in Java. It is mainly constructed around the Java JAI library and furthermore it incorporates the functionality of the popular ImageJ image processing software. Single images, image sequences or an image stack can be processed in an interchangeable manner. Image processing settings can be easily adapted to a set of images by using an image manager. The final processing of a stack of images can be done without any additional programming steps. The image manager is a central part of IQM’s architecture and allows a rapid comparison between different image processing settings. Parallel processing of image sequences is supported, too. Comprehensive thermal analysis software package
ThermV thermal analysis software package aims to provide the most sophisticated automatic analysis of thermal analysis data (TG/DTG, DTA and DSC). It offers new algorithm for concurrent peak deconvolution at different heating rates and provides full kinetic analysis of these data, including isoconversional methods for Ea, determination of reaction model and full kinetic triplet, Avrami coefficients, and dimensionality of crystal growth for reactions in the solid state. The project is currently in alpha stage, where individual modules will be provided for data analysis. The modules for peak deconvolution, peak profile analysis and determination of Ea and lnA will be provided first. Full GUI will be provided in beta stage. Due to computational limitations, the code is partly programmed in Python and partly in R. Python code will eventually be fully integrated into GUI. R code might remain standalone, although it will be integrated to a highest possible degree. Distributed under GPL

An HDL alternative to PCB graphical schematic capture tools.
PHDL is an HDL that functions as an alternative to mainstream graphical schematic capture tools. The language is compiled into a pcb netlist which can then be imported into a layout tool. We are currently on version 2.1 of the tool. We have created an eclipse plugin version of the tool as well as a standalone command-line based version. Both function identically and output a netlist that can be imported into a pcb layout tool. VHDL revolutionized how FPGA designs and digital logic circuits have been designed and captured and overcame many of the difficulties associated with the use of schematic editing tools. We believe the use of an HDL is also the way of the future when it comes to PCB design. The PHDL compiler automatically supports the output of PADS and Eagle netlists, and through extending a simple java class, users can generate a netlist in practically any format required by their choice of a layout tool.

We used to recommend running it on a POSIX platform (Unix / Linux), but thanks to modest efforts since 2014, performance in Windows OS environments is excellent.

This Python script reads in a DXF (ascii) file and generates a PCB output compatible with PCB Designer, part of the gEDA suite. It is designed for two purposes: One is to generate a PCB snippet from a mechanical drawing (such as a board outline), the other is to produce element files from CAD drawings. PCB snippets are easily imported into an existing gEDA-PCB project using File -> Load Layout to Buffer. Generated element files are ready to use (except for special cases like no-paste flags and rounded pads).
