Open source 3D Matlab Isogeometric Analysis Code
Isogeometric analysis (IGA) is a fundamental step forward in computational mechanics that offers the possibility of integrating methods for analysis into Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools and vice versa. The benefits of such an approach are evident, since the time taken from design to analysis is greatly reduced leading to large savings in cost and time for industry. The tight coupling of CAD and analysis within IGA requires knowledge from both fields and it is one of the goals of the MIGFEM is to provide a simple-to-understand IGA FEM code. The environment is a hilly terrain which can also be user-defined in the form of a Bitmap image file (where intensity of red component defines height). It's similar to the classic "Terep 2". Particular care for internal cam. Written in standard C. There's a Windows executable ready for use, but it's compilable and playable on all Linux, BSD, MacOSX systems. beatStation can annotate onsets, beats or segments in audio files. Download the archive and extract/copy the directory on your local hard drive. Before starting the app you need to copy 2 or more sound files to annotate in the data/sounds/ subdirectory. You can also adjust different settings from the settings file. For instance, you can choose to tap with a midi interface or just use the keyboard. beatStation was designed as a game with a purpose application in which users can compete between each other in tapping various songs. In this setup, you need to have Octave or Matlab installed in order to compute the score for each user. GeneticAlgorithm-based search for Heterogeneous Ensemble Combinations
In data classification, there are no particular classifiers that perform consistently in every case. This is even worst in case of both the high dimensional and class-imbalanced datasets. To overcome the limitations of class-imbalanced data, we split the dataset using a random sub-sampling to balance them. Then, we apply the (alpha,beta)-k feature set method to select a better subset of features and combine their outputs to get a consolidated feature set for classifier training. To enhance classification performances, we propose an ensemble of classifiers that combine the classification outputs of base classifiers using the simplest and largely used majority voting approach. Instead of creating the ensemble using all base classifiers, we have implemented a genetic algorithm (GA) to search for the best combination from heterogeneous base classifiers. The classification performances achieved by the proposed method method on the chosen datasets are promising.
