The Network-Integrated Multimedia Middleware (NMM) is a flow graph based multimedia framework that allows to create distributed multimedia applications: local and remote multimedia devices or software components can be combined.
The aim of this project is to create programs which turn off the computer after a certain time is exceeded within one day. The final goal is to avoid that small children spend too much time in front of the computer.
Distributed reverse / forward proxy and tunneling solution for TCP.
PortFusion is a minimalistic, cross-platform, transport-layer distributed reverse / forward proxy for TCP written in Haskell + LLVM and released under GPLv3. A single package that makes the most of each platform by tapping into their unique capabilities, combining this power with an intuitive interface, beautiful design and Haskell's excellent support for unprecedented levels of concurrency and parallelism. It strives for the smallest source code size (< 500 lines) while delivering maximum throughput with near zero overhead.

Re-broadcasts UDP packets using all network interfaces.
The program functions as a sort of virtual hub. It listens on all network interfaces for outgoing UDP broadcast packets destined to the IPv4 address 255.255.255.255. When the program receives any such packet, it will send it on all network interfaces (other than the interface on which it is already being sent) that have a class C subnet mask. In other words, when the program is running, outgoing UDP broadcast packets are sent from all network interfaces that have a class C subnet mask, instead of only being sent from a single network interface that the operating system selects.
Workaround for file associating problem in Windows Vista / 7
Workaround for the problem that exist with associating file types with programs located in other folders than the standard program folders in Windows Vista or Windows 7. It is specifically designed to make it possible to associate various file types with GNU Emacs (that is supposed to be located on a path that doesn't contain any space, and hence can't be located in the Program files folder), but the code can easily be modified and recompiled to make it possible to associate any file type with any program.

A powerful, network & web application monitor.
Systems up? Check. Short for "Operations Checker," OpCheck is a proactive web application monitoring solution for cloud-based / online service providers. It makes sure that your applications are up - and alerts you when they aren't. OpCheck contains a robust scheduling engine that performs scans exactly when you need them, at any frequency you need them. There are 3 scan types: Ping, TcpConnect, and HTTP. The HTTP scan type is highly configurable and best illustrates the power and utility behind this product. OpCheck's most powerful feature is the HTTP scan type. It checks the availability, performance, and configuration of web applications. It contains an extremely powerful HTTP request crafter that allows you to send any payload to the target web server - any combination of headers, cookies, and message body. OpCheck also has a robust set of validator components that validate the response headers, cookies, and even run an XQuery against an XML message body.
Welcome to the Volunteer-Based System for Research on the Internet!
Welcome to the Volunteer-Based System for Research on the Internet! This system is designed to provide detail data about applications used in the Internet. This information can be used for: - obtaining the knowledge which applications are most frequently used in the network - providing the users some basic statistics about their Internet connection usage (for example for which kinds of applications their connection is used the most) - creating scientific profiles of traffic generated by different applications or different groups of applications - creating a traffic generator, to imitate traffic generated by particular applications, or to imitate the real traffic in the network - implementing smart assessment of QoS in the network at the users' level and in the core of the network - obtaining precise data needed to train Machine Learning Algorithms - many more cases :-)
