A biochemical property prediction system
Computationally predicts the pharmacokinetic properties of drug candidates using Quantitative Structure Property Relationships (QSPR) modelling. Assembles a set of tools and databases for predicting the physical properties of small molecules. The program models a given property's dependence on a collection of molecular and structural descriptors using a training set of molecules. Neural networks and support vector regression are available, as well as linear models. The models generated by this analysis can then be used to predict the properties of compounds during the development of new and novel drugs. The program and its databases are all open-source.

GUAJE stands for Generating Understandable and Accurate fuzzy models in a Java Environment. Thus, it is a free software tool (licensed under GPL-v3) with the aim of supporting the design of interpretable and accurate fuzzy systems by means of combining several preexisting open source tools, taking profit from the main advantages of all of them. It is a user-friendly portable tool designed and developed in order to make easier knowledge extraction and representation for fuzzy systems, paying special attention to interpretability issues. GUAJE lets the user define expert variables and rules, but also provide supervised and fully automatic learning capabilities. Both types of knowledge, expert and induced, are integrated under the expert supervision, ensuring interpretability, simplicity and consistency of the knowledge base along the whole process. Notice that, GUAJE is is an upgraded version of the free software called KBCT (Knowledge Base Configuration Tool).

The Bacterial Isolate Genome Sequence Database (BIGSdb) is a scalable, web-accessible database system designed to store and analyse linked phenotypic and genotypic information in a computationally efficient manner. Sequence data can range from single sequence reads to multiple contigs generated by whole genome sequencing technologies. The system incorporates the capacity to define and identify any number of loci and genetic variants at those loci within the stored nucleotide sequences. These loci can be further organised into schemes for isolate characterisation or for evolutionary or functional analyses.
