    • Despite centuries of exhaustive research, the theory of evolution still hasn't provided a satisfying explanation for the origin of intelligence and language; • According to the biblical world view, God has created laws of nature. Being based on the Laws of Intelligence embedded in Grammar, only Thinknowlogy implements the natural meaning (intelligent function) of words like definite article “the”, conjunction “or”, possessive verb “has/have” and past tense verbs “was/were” and “had”. It is demonstrated by: • Programming in natural language; • Reasoning in natural language: - drawing conclusions (more advanced than scientific solutions), - making assumptions (with self-adjusting level of uncertainty), - asking questions (about gaps in the knowledge), - detecting conflicts and some cases of semantic ambiguity, - displaying of justification reports for the self-generated knowledge; • Multilingualism, proving: Languages have one common origin.

    Evidence Directed Gene Construction for Eukaryotes

    EvidentialGene is a genome informatics project, "Evidence Directed Gene Construction for Eukaryotes", to construct high quality, accurate gene sets for animals and plants, developed by Don Gilbert at Indiana University, see http://arthropods.eugenes.org/EvidentialGene/ Construction refers to the combination of classical gene prediction, and more recent gene assembly (de-novo and genome-assisted) methods. The basic Evigene methods involve using available best-of-breed gene prediction and assembly software, combining all evidence for genes, from expressed sequences, genome assembly sequences, related species protein sequences, and any other, to annotate and score gene constructions. Over-produced constructions are classified by gene evidence for best qualities per "locus", including genome-aligned and gene-transcript aligned (genome-free) locus identification. All software developed for EvidentialGene is publicly available. See project wiki/blog for notes.

    Dynamics of quantum systems, controlled by external fields

    WavePacket is a program package for numerical simulation of quantum-mechanical wavepacket dynamics for distinguishable particles. It can be used to solve one or more (i.e. coupled channels) time-independent or time-dependent (linear) Schrödinger and Liouville-von Neumann-equations. Optionally accounting for the interaction with external electric fields within the semiclassical dipole approximation, WavePacket can simulate modern experiments using ultrashort light pulses in photo-induced physics or chemistry, including optimal control. The extended graphical capabilities allow visualization 'on the fly', including Wigner transforms to phase space. WavePacket is especially suitable for teaching of quantum mechanics as well as for research projects in physics and chemistry, see also the numerous demo examples in the Wiki here. While the Matlab version is already in a stable and mature state, the C++ version is still under construction aiming at an object-oriented rewrite.
