Allows inclusion of Gesture Interaction via WiiMote in Web-Apps
WiiGesture is a library to add gestural interaction in web-applications that are based on Adobe Flash/Flex/Air. Therefore it uses the WiiFlash service (http://wiiflash.bytearray.org/?page_id=50) to retrieve the sensor data and an internal algorithm based on template matching recognizes performed gestures in real-time. For easier gesture training, a so called WiiGesture-Learning desktop tool was developed that automatically generates gesture templates by performing gestures with at least one repetition. The result is an XML file that can be exported and included in the WiiGesture-API so that trained gestures are known to the API. For research purposes also an analysis tool was developed to compare gestures from different participants/users. We used it to identify intuitive gestures from users for certain commands. The entire work was part of my diploma thesis I wrote in 2008 at Fraunhofer IGD. The gesture recognition API was included in a number of example scenarios.

Create and simulate logic circuits
From the practical point of view, this article refers to an educational software developed as a technological tool for understanding the logic circuits operation. Using such an interactive designer software, we have the main advantage and the opportunity of removing all the possible design errors even before proceeding to the expensive component manufacturing and assembly. From the educational point of view, our application, Logic Circuit Designer, is aimed to help both those students and users, studying computer architecture or more specifically, digital logic circuits. This product is a simulator for logic circuits, allowing the student to better visualize and understand how a logic circuit works, by enabling him to build whatever logic circuit he wants, and visually simulate its operation. Based on a friendly user interface, the student can interact with its logic circuit, flip switches, change the input data, and watch the output data changes for sequential models.

A simulator for NARX ( Nonlinear AutoRegressive with eXogenous inputs)
This projects aims at creating a simulator for the NARX (Nonlinear AutoRegressive with eXogenous inputs ) architecture with neural networks. The system can fallback to MLP ( multi layer perceptron ), TDNN ( time delay neural network ), BPTT ( backpropagation through time ) and a full NARX architecture. The system is intended to be used as a time series forecaster for educational purposes. This projects is my personal master thesis developed at the Master of Artificial Intelligence at Universitat Polytecnica de Catalunya, Barcelona The project presents artificial generated data but also real data tests from temperature, weather, economy. Extended C Library
Why Is libxc needed? There doesn't exist a library for ANSI C99 for common data containers, such as vectors, trees, etc. There also also doesn't exist a library for common functionality, such as error reporting/logging, string functions, configuration management (reading config files), etc... The programmer working in C doesn't have anything analogous to the Boost C++ library. The extended C library is intended to make some headway into providing this functionality. To ensure unrestricted usage the libxc project is provided under the very permissive BSD license. General purpose file-processing application
