Program to measure amount of motion with DirectX-compatible camera
The program is designed to measure and store on the HDD the amount of motion measured with the DirectX-compatible camera. The program also can capture video with sound and store them in compressed AVI files. The special feature of Motion Detector is its support of information exchange through UDP protocol. Motion Detector can send motion data in real time to other software for organizing real-time feedback in scientific behavioral experiments. It also can accept commands trough the network or from other software running on the same computer (through UDP) to start/stop video capturing. The program has a ring buffer in RAM to store prehistory - some amount of video before the UDP video capturing event can be saved in the file if needed. Name of the video file can be given in the UDP message or generated locally using auto-increment feature.

The rendering engine uses internally OpenGL or DirectX optionally. The planned editor supports software development on Linux, Windows and maybe MacOS X. DirectX 9 and therefore Windows XP are currently not supported and support is not planned in the future. As of now, an independently developed graphics/physics engine for use with DirectX9/DirectX11 and C++. I'm only working on this during my free time, so it will not be updated too often unless I have something major to add to it. Outside insight would be appreciated.

The project contains two libraries called FLParser and FLApi to read and interpret (and later on create) the various file formats used by the game.
