Simulation for spacecraft attitude control system analysis and design
42 is a comprehensive general-purpose simulation of spacecraft attitude and orbit dynamics. Its primary purpose is to support design and validation of attitude control systems, from concept studies through integration and test. 42 accurately models multi-body spacecraft attitude dynamics (with rigid and/or flexible bodies), and both two-body and three-body orbital flight regimes, modelling environments from low Earth orbit to throughout the solar system. 42 simulates multiple spacecraft concurrently, facilitating studies of rendezvous, proximity operations, and precision formation flying. It also features visualization of spacecraft attitude.
CFD-related Fortran libraries and applications
The CFD Utility Software Library (previously known as the Aerodynamics Division Software Library at NASA Ames Research Center) contains nearly 30 libraries of generalized subroutines and close to 100 applications built upon those libraries. These utilities have accumulated during four decades or so of software development in the aerospace field. All are written in Fortran 90 or FORTRAN 77 with potential reuse in mind. The only exception is the C translations of a dozen or so numerics routines grouped as C_utilities. David Saunders and Robert Kennelly are the primary authors, but miscellaneous contributions by others are gratefully acknowledged. See 1-line summaries of the libraries and applications under the Files menu. Each library folder also contains 1-line summaries of the grouped subroutines, while each application folder contains READMEs adapted from the main program headers. NASA permission to upload actual software was granted on Jan. 24, 2014.
Unit testing framework for Fortran with MPI extensions
pFUnit is a Fortran testing framework created by developers from NASA and NGC TASC. pFUnit offers a convenient, lightweight mechanism for Fortran developers to create and run software tests that specify the desired behavior for a given piece of code. See the website or wiki for more information.
Advanced mission simulation and analysis tool
The Orbit Determination Toolbox (ODTBX) is developed by the Navigation & Mission Design branch at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center as an advanced mission simulation and analysis tool used for concept exploration, proposal, early design phase, and/or rapid design center environments. ODTBX functions and utilities are combined in a flexible architecture that allows for modular development of navigation algorithms and simulations. The core ODTBX functionality is realized through a set of estimation commands that incorporate Monte Carlo data simulation, linear covariance analysis, and measurement processing at a generic level.
Interface between USARSim and ROS
USARSimRos is designed to provide a seamless interface between the USARSim framework (www.sourceforge.net/projects/usarsim) and ROS (www.ros.org). USARSim provides embodyment (sensors and platforms) and environments for a physics-based robotic simulation while ROS provides leading edge control algorithms. USARSimROS provides for auto-discovery of the simulated robots and sensors and connects these robots to the appropriate ROS control topics. Through the use of auto-discovery, robotic platforms and sensors may be easily changed and connect to the ROS control stack. Repeatable experiments are possible in a variety of environments and will hopefully lead to more robust and capable algorithms.
The ADL Resource Libraries provide an open-source, standards-based set of APIs, tools, and services as a “starter kit” to anyone who is interested in building software that is SCORM 2004 3rd Edition conformant and leverages other established and emerging ADL technology.

The Staples Data Population & Migration Administrator is an application for the SuperWikia programming language which auto-builds critical infrastructure for cloned patches and provides backend server capability for smaller projects.
SuperWikia: The Runtime/Realtime Environment for Codesmiths
The SuperWikia Alpha 1.0 application is an IDE specifically developed for 3D and graphic content. Its built upon the Unity foundation and incorporates various libraries from Komodo IDE, wxDevC++, CodeBlocks, QT Creator and other applications. Its Realtime purpose is an IDE (codesmith developer access), its Runtime (U/I) function is as a space building simulator, operating in conjunction with the SuperWikia 'Navigator' user interface to simulate space economics and fleet operations. It allows users (known as 'data fleet navigators' or DFN's) to compete in tourneys over vast regions known as 'expanses' and to create envoys that manage onsite and offsite stations. Using additional SuperWikia components, users may enhance their experience with plugins and 'dataplates' that help build the Runtime environment. Codesmiths (SuperWikia Alpha developers) can also build on top of the codebase using 'transcribes', acronym/algebraic encodes that differentiate codesmith works.

Tool for Analysis of Surface Cracks (TASC)
TASC - 2014 NASA Software of the Year Co-Winner! TASC V1.0.2 is now available. - See users manual for release details Tool for Analysis of Surface Cracks (TASC) is a computer program created in MATLAB to enable easy computation of nonlinear J-integral solutions for surface cracked plates in tension by accessing and interpolating between the 600 nonlinear surface crack solutions documented in NASA/TP–2013-217480. The only required inputs are the surface crack dimensions (2c and a), plate cross-section dimensions (W and B), and linear plus power law material properties of elastic modulus, yield strength, and strain hardening coefficient. With the geometry and material parameters entered, TASC interpolates to the appropriate J(φ) vs. crack mouth opening displacement (CMOD) and far-field tension stress, σ, vs. CMOD solution, providing the full solution as CMOD ranges from zero out to the CMOD limit of the solution space for the given input parameters.
