A free Fortran 2008, 2018 coarrays course with notes and exercises
Coarrays are native Fortran means for SPMD parallel programming. At runtime multiple copies of the executable (called images) are executing asynchronously. The F2008 standard provides coarray syntax, remote calls, coarray data objects, allocatable coarrays, syncronisation, atomics, etc. F2018 adds new functionality, e.g. collectives, teams, events, more atomics. Coarrays are used extensively in CASUP library for HPC (https://cgpack.sourceforge.io). The course is aimed at experienced Fortran users. Working knowledge of Fortran is assumed. The course is designed for a 1 day study with an instructor. Multiple exercises with full solutions are accompanied by notes. This course is taught to the University of Bristol HPC users. Exercises have been verified with Intel and GCC/OpenCoarrays. All course materials are released under BSD license. We welcome contributions, provided you are happy to release your work under BSD license. We welcome comments and problem reports.

SCNURS - Side Cut Non-Uniform Residual Stress measurement method for plates, - is a destructive RS measurement method developed in Moscow, Russia and later in Bristol, UK. The method is specifically designed for the measurement of highly non-uniform RS fields, including discontinuities, in plates. This project collects all codes which implement forward and inverse solution to the RS problem. The codes are in modern Fortran with OpenMP. The codes are distributed under 2-clause BSD license. The code uses Lapack (http://netlib.org/lapack), Slatec (http://www.netlib.org/slatec) and CMLIB (http://gams.nist.gov/cgi-bin/serve.cgi/Package/CMLIB) libraries. Long story short, LifeSim aims to create an autonomous, simple but complete "virtual animal" which can eat, sleep, meet other LifeSims, spread, mate and so on. Managing daemon for GM7 Xtreme GPS Tracker
This software, consisting of a daemon and a command shell, is meant to be used together with the Xtreme GM7 GPS tracker to help simplify its management and to make it possible to monitor alerts sent by the tracker. The software is intended to be run as a GNU/Linux service that always runs in the background and can be used to both receive location updates from a remote tracker as well as configuring the tracker (over both USB and a GPRS link to the device). All received events are stored in a database and the daemon supports export of events to GPX, KML, CSV format. It is also possible to have specific action scripts executed upon receiving specific events or generate mail notifications. The daemon and command shell comes with extensive reference documentation (HTML & PDF) and Unix man pages.

Linux kernel mode debugfs keylogger
A Linux kernel module to grab keys pressed in the keyboard, or a keylogger. keysniffer was initially written with the US keyboard (and conforming laptops) in mind. By default it shows human-readable strings for the keys pressed. However, as keyboards evolved, more keys got added. So the module now supports a module parameter codes which shows the keycode shift_mask pair in hex (codes=1) or decimal (codes=2). You can lookup the keycodes in /usr/include/linux/input-event-codes.h. The keypress logs are recorded in debugfs as long as the module is loaded. Only root or sudoers can read the log. The module name has been camouflaged to blend-in with other kernel modules. You can, however, execute a script at shutdown or reboot (the procedure would be distro-specific) to save the keys to a file.
