Galaxy extraterrestrial life simulation
EtiC is a galaxy simulation software that generates and renders a mock galaxy for rational estimation of the number of extraterrestrial civilizations. Stars and planets are simulated with plausible physical characteristics, based on user-adjustable parameters. An EtiC simulation run consists to generate a galaxy disk physical stars, associate planets to the stars, and for habitable planets, simulate the life stages evolution until extinction. A visual animation of the galaxy and user selection of highlighted star-planet objects is provided, together with statistics (25+ graphs) and estimates of Drake equation factors. The V2_1 provides several new features: planets surface magnetic field, reworked life stage transitions, integration of MW exoplanets catalog, planets view and graphs window optionally on different threads... EtiC is based on OpenGL / GLFW 3.2, runs on MSWindows 7 and MacOsX. Source code in C++, was developped using the Dev-C++ IDE and XCode.

Based off of NetBeans and it's UI, I hope to allow the same customization interface and easy-to-use program feeling as many OpenSource programs. A binary waveform synthesizer based on Timewave Zero
A binary waveform synthesizer derived from and based upon Timewave Zero theory by Terence McKenna. His theory proposes that the structure of time is a complex wave with a scalar potential, and the King Wen sequence of the I Ching is the 64 hexagram code from which the waveform of time is derived; that the King Wen sequence maps the linear progression of the human states of mind, which ultimately substantiates this waveform. This theory is the basis for the well-known novelty computer program he and others had developed. This program synth was made in supercollider.

Time-dependent simulation of open and closed quantum systems
WavePacket is a program package for numerical simulation of quantum-mechanical wavepacket dynamics for distinguishable particles. It can be used to solve one or more (i.e. coupled channels) time-independent or time-dependent (linear) Schrödinger and Liouville-von Neumann-equations. Optionally accounting for the interaction with external electric fields within the semiclassical dipole approximation, WavePacket can simulate modern experiments using ultrashort light pulses in photo-induced physics or chemistry. WavePacket is especially suitable for teaching of quantum mechanics as well as for research projects in physics, chemistry, and scientific computing. The present C++ version is an object-oriented rewrite of the existing Matlab version aiming to be more flexible. In particular, the goals are easy handling of open and closed systems and support for unusual setups.

2nd version of the Pascal-P compiler
This was the 2nd version of the Pascal-P compiler created by Niklaus Wirth's group at ETH Zurich, termed Pascal-P2. This was the original portable compiler for Pascal. Niklaus Wirth led an effort to gather and reconcile the different sources for the Pascal-P compiler in existence, which were collectively referred to as Pascal-P1.These were then published as part of a porting kit for the compiler. Pascal-P2 is a "Running history project". It is a historical record, but still runs on modern computers. It was used as the basis for several compilers, including UCSD Pascal. Pascal-P2 exists mainly for historical reference. It was improved at ETH Zurich to become Pascal-P4, and brought to full ISO 7185 standard status as Pascal-P5. This project is an attempt to write cross-platform code which implements the Haars Transform (Discrete Wavelet Transform / DWT) in 2D for image manipulation. The code provided will use SDL to half the size of an image in both the x and y directions.
SYINF shows in brief a system's CPU brand and model, RAM size, disk space, operating system, regional parameters, and current date and time. It runs in interactive or batch mode. Tested on 21 compilers, 27 operating systems, and 19 architectures.
