The project currently provides support for WYSIWYG editing of Swing/AWT and SWT/RCP user interfaces. Originally developed as an Eclipse Project the Visual Editor project was discontinued and archived in June 2011. This project is a community based fork of the archived sources. The archived source and website trees have been converted from CVS to Subversion. This code can be freely downloaded or browsed online using the 'Code' link above. The VE releases are available for installation from the Eclipse Marketplace or using the Eclipse Update Manager. Performance and Productivity at Scale
X10 is a class-based, strongly-typed, garbage-collected, object-oriented language. To support concurrency and distribution, X10 uses the Asynchronous Partitioned Global Address Space programming model (APGAS). This model introduces two key concepts -- places and asynchronous tasks -- and a few mechanisms for coordination. With these, APGAS can express both regular and irregular parallelism, message-passing-style and active-message-style computations, fork-join and bulk-synchronous parallelism. Both its modern, type-safe sequential core and simple programming model for concurrency and distribution contribute to making X10 a high-productivity language in the HPC and Big Data spaces. User productivity is further enhanced by providing tools such as an Eclipse-based IDE (X10DT). Implementations of X10 are available for a wide variety of hardware and software platforms ranging from laptops, to commodity clusters, to supercomputers.

Zhongwen Development Tool - helping to study Mandarin Chinese
The ZDT (Zhongwen Development Tool) is written in Java using the Eclipse RCP to help users study mandarin Chinese. The most important feature is the flashcard study feature. ZDT currently contains: * a Flashcard plugin for memorizing Chinese characters, their meaning and their pinyin/pronunciation. The user is able to import Character lists or enter them manually. This * a Dictionary search plugin with three dictionaries: ADSO, CeDict, HanDeDict. The HanDeDict is a German dictionary. It is also possible to search any word lists entered by the user using the flashcard plugin. * an Annotator plugin. The Annotator converts the Chinese characters into pinyin, using the Alphabet with accents. On the ZDT website, flashcard lists are available for some commonly used books, such as Hanyu Jiaocheng (汉语教程). User discussion can be found on: http://www.chinese-forums.com/index.php?/forum/35-zdt-flashcards-forum/ You also may choose to use Tickets -> Support (see above).
