QC tests and patient doses from radiodiagnostic XRay equipment
This software performs various quality control tests for XRay devices used in radiography, mammography, fluoroscopy and CT such as: HVL/tube filtration, high voltage, exposure time, tube output, MTF calculations, film sensitometry, AEC devices and more. It also compute patient doses using an external program based on the GEANT4 simulation toolkit. Patient dose from medical X-ray and other sources
DHPRE software uses Geant4 simulation toolkit for computing organ doses, effective dose and lifetime atributable cancer risk for humans exposed to external radiation field. It is mainly used for patients undergoing X-ray examinations such as radiography, mammography, dental panoramic and CT but can be used for any kind of radiations. INTERFACE is a small program to compute the correction to dosimeter reading when used in conditions other than the calibration ones. This package does not contain all data required to run, i.e. does not contain GEANT4 libraries and GEANT4 nuclear data (for saving space). It does contain however the X-Ray spectrum data. Read README.txt me inside Build folder for how to fix it. Source code included.
OpenGrowth is a program which constructs de novo ligands for proteins.
OpenGrowth is a research program which grows new ligands in proteins by connecting small organic fragments. The details can be found in the original publication "OpenGrowth: an automated and rational algorithm for finding new protein ligands" (J. Med. Chem., http://dx.doi.org/10.1021/acs.jmedchem.5b00886). To use OpenGrowth, you will need OpenGrowth_1.0.zip and Resources_1.0.2.zip that can be found by clicking on the Files menu in the horizontal bar at the top (https://sourceforge.net/projects/opengrowth/files). OpenGrowthGUI, FOG2.0, and the 3Mer-Screen stand-alone can be found in OpenGrowth_1.0.zip. To prepare new fragments you need BuildingFragments_1.0.1.zip and the scripts for MD simulations are in MD-Scripts_1.0.1.zip. SMoG2016.tar.gz allows to compute a score with the newly developed function (J. Chem. Inf. Mod., http://pubs.acs.org/doi/abs/10.1021/acs.jcim.6b00610). This program tries to help radiologists to keep track of patients which receive radiation doses (measured, or computed, free in air) from radiodiagnostic examinations. It performs computation of KAP (kerma-area-product if it is not recorded by a dedicated DAP-meter) and record the patient information. The program also generates elegant reports which can be converted as pdf, xls etc.

Growing suite of proteomics simulations for educational purposes
JBioFramework (JBF) is a set of two different chemical separations simulations (2D Electrophoresis and Mass Spectrometry) that are frequently used in chemistry, biochemistry and proteomics research. It is written in the Java programming language and will run on any and all systems that have the JVM installed. As we continue to develop the software over the coming months/years and attempt to quantify the success of our efforts with testing and reviews, user input is very important.
