TIES (Text Information Extraction System) is a clinical text search engine that uses Natural Language Processing techniques to extract medical concepts from free text clinical reports. Extended C Library
Why Is libxc needed? There doesn't exist a library for ANSI C99 for common data containers, such as vectors, trees, etc. There also also doesn't exist a library for common functionality, such as error reporting/logging, string functions, configuration management (reading config files), etc... The programmer working in C doesn't have anything analogous to the Boost C++ library. The extended C library is intended to make some headway into providing this functionality. To ensure unrestricted usage the libxc project is provided under the very permissive BSD license. ConceptBase.cc can represent information at the data level (example data, traces of process executions etc.), the class level (schemas, process definitions etc.), the metaclass level (constructs of modeling languages), the meta-metaclass level (constructs for defining modeling languages), and so forth. ConceptBase.cc is developed by the ConceptBase Team at University of Skövde (HIS) and University of Aachen (RWTH). ConceptBase.cc supports Linux, Mac OS X and Windows. GaryOS is an entire GNU/Linux system in a single bootable file
GaryOS is an entire GNU/Linux system in a single bootable file. While most boot/rescue systems use an ISO with SquashFS, GaryOS is a single binary file consisting of a Linux kernel and a Funtoo/Gentoo initramfs. The file is generated using a customized Funtoo/Gentoo configuration with a default Grml Linux kernel configuration via the Metro automated build tool. There are currently no major projects which take this same approach on this scale. The result is a smaller boot/rescue file that is just as comprehensive, yet easier to deploy and manage. GaryOS enables you to drop a single file on any media, point a bootloader at it and go. Upgrades are as simple as replacing the file and/or adding another bootloader entry. Rescue media is more likely to be available and up-to-date if it is convenient to deploy and manage, which is one of the primary aims of GaryOS.

Cross-platform DICOM implementation
Grassroots DiCoM is a C++ library for DICOM medical files. It is accessible from Python, C#, Java and PHP. It supports RAW, JPEG, JPEG 2000, JPEG-LS, RLE and deflated transfer syntax. It comes with a super fast scanner implementation to quickly scan hundreds of DICOM files. It supports SCU network operations (C-ECHO, C-FIND, C-STORE, C-MOVE). PS 3.3 & 3.6 are distributed as XML files. It also provides PS 3.15 certificates and password based mecanism to anonymize and de-identify DICOM datasets.

Middleware for distributed applications
The purpose of the project is to develop a portable programming framework that facilitates distributed and multi-threaded programming for C++, Java, and Python. MADARA was originally developed as an agent-based middleware specifically for real-time, distributed artificial intelligence, but is now more general purpose for distributed timing, control, knowledge and reasoning, and quality-of-service. MADARA is composed of several tools and middleware, and the main entry point into the system is the Knowledge and Reasoning Language (KaRL) Engine, which provides a real-time scripting language for nanosecond execution times hooked into a flexible transport layer for distributed reasoning. The KaRL engine also supports object-oriented C++, Java, and Python programming through Containers, classes that provide abstractions and references for variable location within the KaRL Knowledge Base. This project is currently in process of being ported from http://madara.googlecode.com.
