BioXTAS RAW is a program for analysis of Small-Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS) data. The software enables: creation of 1D scattering profiles from 2D detector images, standard data operations such as averaging and subtraction, analysis of radius of gyration (Rg) and molecular weight, and advanced analysis using GNOM and DAMMIF as well as electron density reconstructions using DENSS. It also allows easy processing of inline SEC-SAXS data and data deconvolution using the evolving factor analysis (EFA) method. EasyABC is an open source ABC editor
EasyABC allows the user to create, edit, view, play, convert music written in the ABC music notation language. The program was written in Python 2.7 and WxPython by Nils Liberg and runs on Windows, OSX, and Linux. Nils Liberg is no longer supporting this open source package, however I have volunteered to continue its support and development.

portable administration tool for LDAP, DNS, IMAP, PostgreSQL and more
Admin4 is a tool for server maintenance via several plugin modules. Currently, plugins for BIND DNS, LDAP, IMAP and PostgreSQL are included. It is designed as a framework, using Python for fast development of plugins and custom modifications. The DNS plugin should be able to query (axfr) any type of server, and performs updates via DDNS which insures that it won't interfere with other DDNS clients (DHCP, SAMBA4). For Bind 9.7 and up, statistics are supported as well and used to retrieve the server's zones automatically. The LDAP plugin features browsing and generic editing of all types of LDAP entries with schema support. In addition, high-level editing of objects like users, groups and samba domains is supported. Custom objectClasses and attributes can easily be added. The IMAP plugin can browse and modify mailbox metadata, such as name, acl and quota. The PostgreSQL plugin features a nice query tool, a data modification tool and an object browser.

A tool able to simulate gene-environment and gene-gene interactions.
Gene-Environment iNteraction Simulator 2 (GENS2) simulates interactions among two genetic and one environmental factor and also allows for epistatic interactions. GENS2 is based on data with realistic patterns of linkage disequilibrium, and imposes no limitations either on the number of individuals to be simulated or on number of non-predisposing genetic/environmental factors to be considered. The GENS2 tool is able to simulate gene-environment and gene-gene interactions. To make the Simulator more intuitive, the input parameters are expressed as standard epidemiological quantities. GENS2 is written in Python language and takes advantage of operators and modules provided by the simuPOP simulation environment. It can be used through a graphical or a command-line interface.
Crossplatform files synchronization and backup portable tool.
PYBAG implements a portable bag and is intended for fast synchronization and backup. It lets you use a portable digital storage device to carry your electronic documents similar to the way you can use a bag to carry paper documents. You can synchronize the bag with your original files easily. If a synchronization conflict occurs, it will be reported. You can specify rules for automatic conflict resolution. With PYBAG, you can backup files and synchronize any changes made to the original files with the bag. The synchronization process will only copy changed files. The program is cross-platform and independent from the OS and file system. You may easily synchronize files between Windows and Linux, for example. Symbolic links are supported on all systems (if the OS or file system does not support symlinks, then they are emulated). This program has a GUI and a command line interface.
EVBU - A Python-based Open Source 68HC11 Simulator
The Motorola 68HC11 is a popular microcontroller and several evaluation boards are available (including Motorola's original board, known as the EVBU) for exploring the capabilities of this microcontroller. This software is a 68HC11 simulator that emulates many aspects of an EVBU with a 68HC11 running the BUFFALO monitor program. The user interface to EVBU is similar (but not identical) to what a user would experience using a terminal program connected to the EVBU hardware.
