This Linux Live CD provides Various Processing Command Line Utilities (Clu) and Data Rescue Tools which can be used on a Wired or Wireless Network. On Startup it prompts the user to change password, mount all filesystems available locally, start wireless network ( if wifi interface present ), start network services (samba/ssh/sftp) and present user with a console for executing various utilities i.e Text, Image, Audio, Video, Downloading etc. on their FileSystems that are mounted. Googling on Linux ( or bash ) Command Line Utility for doing xyz task, will help the user to get examples of the same. For Data Rescue, File Managers / FileZilla can be used on networked machines to access the Live CD Machine for copying data files and folders. Refer Video / Screenshot for connection parameters and downloading option. After Booting with this Live CD, just click on the CDROM icon at the bottom of the Desktop, to open its folder contents, then Right Click the zerofree.sh file and Choose the "Run in Terminal" option and then follow the instructions shown on the terminal. As you may be aware, Booting with a Live CD, requires that you need to change the Boot Order on your System / Guest BIOS, quickly on startup, by pressing either F2 OR F12 OR F10 OR an equivalent key and then change the Boot Order to boot from the CDROM first. Some Hints: Puppy Linux Live CDs show some dialogs / settings window on first startup / first shutdown. Feel free to dismiss / close them, if you do not want to make any changes, to the live cd's operation, next time, on the same system. This will not affect the zerofree's work in any way. Apart from this, using the Internet Browser, built in, would require a Free Memory of 1 GB or more, for better Performance ( as it is generally a memory intensive activity ) -

TinHat
TinHat Linux aims to provide a secure, stable, and fast desktop env.
TinHat Linux is derived from hardened Gentoo and lives purely in RAM. It does not mount any file system from CD via uniunfs or otherwise. Rather, TinHat is a massive image which loads into tmpfs upon booting. One pays the prices of long boot times (several minutes), but the advantage afterwords is that there are no delays going back to the CD when starting applications. TinHat was conceived as a challenge to the old mantra that physical access to a system means full access to the data. This is certainly true in the case of unencrypted file systems, and at least potentially true in the case of encrypted. Rather, TinHat aims towards the ideal of guaranteeing zero information loss should the attacker physically acquire the box. -

Since i started coding Apps for the NDS, my goal was to write a program, called WinDS, which does (nearly) the same as the real appy by Microsoft. The New Beta 0.95 is out, it features - 52 Classes that are already available within Lua - 25 different types of user interface classes - 8 different predefined dialogs which makes it the perfect GUI sandbox for DS. Pre-configured images of my Raspberry Pi operating systems, used for backup essentially, if they help anyone else, good ! These files just need flashing to the appropiately sized SD card and then booting in your Pi, no install needed. You will need to use the dd command if the SD card is the same size as the image, if larger you can flash the SD card with "Startup Disk Creator" or similar. You should be able to login with root/root and in most Raspbian releases pi/raspberry for username/password and then change the passwords for security as well as creating any new users if you plan on using them. Notes specific to each OS will be listed in the relevant README files. -

This Linux Live CD provides a Quick Way to Save Files from the Hard Drives to an External Drive for Safety and Rescue Purposes. This GUI System gets started in less than 28 seconds and is able to auto mount all drives including external ones, but excluding encrypted drives, for user access. On Startup, this system provides a dual pane file manager for copying files and folders between the panels, by way of a simple drag and drop facility. Following are the limitations of this system : 1. It does not support ENCRYPTED DRIVES at the moment. Do not use it. 2. If the external drive has a ownership aware filesystem, like for eg. ext2/3/4, then the copy happens as ROOT without any interruption. You may change it later using sudo privileges and the chown -R command. Note: To Shutdown the System properly, Click Exit Button on the Bottom of Desktop and Click OK to popup dialog. it is SAFE to REMOVE external drives, AFTER SHUTTING down the system.
