A UNIX-like kernel for the i386 architecture
...It is designed and developed mainly as a hobby OS and, since it serves also for educational purposes, the kernel code is kept as simple as possible for the benefit of students and OS enthusiasts. It is small in size (less than 40,000 lines of code), runs on the i386 hardware platform and is compatible with a good base of existing GNU applications. -

ManuOS
My own operating system.
Currently ManuOS kernel is under development. Once kernel is complete, a good Graphical User Interface will be developed for ManuOS. ManuOS runs on IA-32, x86-64 and currently operates in protected mode. In future ManuOS is intended to run in long mode. -

MITE HAS MOVED TO GITHUB! Mite is a simple general-purpose VM system that provides fast JIT translation to good native code, and safe interpretation. It is easy to target (the core specification is about 10 pages), and simple to implement (a few thousand lines of ISO C).

Pebble is a 32-bit operating sytem for IA-32 systems. It can run MS-DOS and DPMI compatible applications and will provide advanced features such as multitasking and paging. It will be a good platform to run old MS-DOS and embedded programs.

The aim of our project is to create a portable microkernel and a set of OS services that allow good local performance, multiple concurrent operative system personalities (ie UNIX and a native interface) and easy integration of distributed components.

The FDOS Operaing System is 100% written in Assembler (NASM). It supports FAT 12, TSR and a small Multi Kernel System. The source is very good documentated (only in English). A German, russian and English Documentation (about 40 pages) are included.
