This is the project page for HOOPLE version 1, which was retired on September 25 2010. The code supposedly still builds on both Linux (with gnu gcc) and on Windows (with ms visual studio). The pcre_cxx C++ class provides an easy and efficient way to use the PCRE regexp library in a C++ application. It uses the upcoming c++0x rvalue reference feature. So, if you use GCC compiler >= 4.3.3 version, use the "-std=c++0x" compiler option.

Extended C gives Object-Oriented features such as self-referential structure pointers via macros to C, resulting in an object-oriented style. Currently tested in gcc, we hope to stabilize it for other compilers as well, including Borland & Visual Studio.
