I was tired of always having to start a new instance of notepad to take a note of something during my busy work day. All the other note applications seem very bulky and didn't really work with the fast pace that I work at. So... I made TotesNotes!. Click the little tray icon and up pops a note pad to pop text into. There are even a few tabs if you want to seperate them a little bit. * Requires .NET 4.5 Note : If you dont see the icon in your tray, just drag it next to your clock. It should stay there for future use. Feel free to add ideas and suggestions to the discussion group. -

*** NOTE *** There seems to be some problems in Windows 10. This should be fixed by going to the WiseTech\WiseNotes folder in the x86 prog files and running wisenotes.exe as admin. Update - 8-16-2016: You can now delete old notes and categories plus you can search notes by name! I work in IT and most of my jobs I've worked at have always had a generous learning curve and not only because IT can be difficult at times. Often times, its because documentation is lacking or is poorly organized. So I created WiseNotes to remedy that for myself. This is the standalone version utilizing a MDF local DB file but it is also available in a central MySQL server version. This is a simple yet effective wiki as it has a spot for categories and a spot for notes belonging to that category. I am working on two different versions: A standard version and a plus version.
