WatchTower is a cloud server monitoring and management tool. This is actually a suite of tools that includes a dashboard and associated RESTful web services required for managing the servers and services. The dashboard uses PHP/MySQL (requires php5+), html, and css. It's all open source and very easy to work with and make changes. The client I'm using is included and is written in python. Currently tested with Python 2.4 and 2.6, but should work with any version. I'm not using anything special. My plans also include monitoring/managing of Windows servers through the same python client, but compiled into a working exe, but I will work on that when the Linux client is finished first.

This is a very simple web interface for management of static DHCP leases in DNSmasq and Mikrotik. It generates config files for DNSmasq and uses RouterOS API to manage Mikrotik. Network devices (usually PCs) are separated into subnets by department and use triplets (hostname, MAC address, IP address) for identification. Information is stored in MySQL and only exported by your explicit desire. Subnets are rarely changed, so there is no web interface for them - you have to edit the SQL table SUBNET manually.

Weblooker monitors serveral services on multiple systems for their status, up- and downtimes. A webgui and Android client to view the current status and logged downtimes is available as separately package.

WhoisUP v0.3 monitors hosts via ICMP and shows the status in a web page. When a host is down, the script can send mail, syslog message, open a popup message or play a sound. Moreover, the script monitors if the host exceed the latency threshold limit. The script uses NMap to send ICMP packets and to save the host status into an XML file. Then, WhoisUP reads the XML and shows the report in a web page with AJAX features; in case of host failure the script can send alarms. WhoisUP is useful to monitor hosts (PC, Server, NAS, Router, Switch and so on...) and to receive alerts when a host go down.
