SNMPAgent is a Cacti system plugin offering a memory persistent SNMP agent based on NET-SNMP. It includes the official Cacti MIB. This plugin allows other Cacti plugins to register custom MIB files as well as generating SNMP notifications. Additionally Cacti can Monitor itself or being monitored by a foreign NMS using SNMP. Graph and data templates are part of the download package. At least the SNMPAgent can also be used as high performant bridge to cache non SNMP data polled by custom scripts and stored using a custom MIB. -
