Event-driven network library for multi-threaded Linux server in C++11
Muduo is a multithreaded C++ network library based on the reactor pattern. Use of this source code is governed by a BSD-style license that can be found in the License file. Requires Linux kernel version equal or above 2.6.28. Tested on Debian 7 and above, Unbuntu 14.04 and above, and CentOS 7 and above. Install required packages Debian, Ubuntu, etc. See .travis.yml for additional packages for building more examples. -

Easily turn a Ubuntu-based computer into a full linux router, complete with dhcpd, named/bind, iptables firewall, and packet inspection of the network traffic being routed. Deep packet inspection for layer 2 (mac), layer 3 (ipv4, ipv6), layer 4 (icmp, tcp, udp), and layer 7 (application-specific). Summary of network flows and all layers of inspected traffic is stored in a database at 1-second intervals. -

Integrating the TCP analysis performed by the tool, TCPTrace, into the flow-based network monitoring tool, Softflowd, so Softflowd might produce greater detail about TCP flows e.g. RTT values. Developed as part of a University Final Year Project.
