The protocol MCOM (Multipoint relay Connectionless Multicast) is a connectionless multicast protocol for Mobile Ad Hoc Networks. It scales with a large number of multicast groups and has a good protection for packet delivery under high mobility. The MCOM protocol is suited for dynamic MANETs in terms of mobility and the density of multicast group members.
