    Nitro Enclaves Command Line Interface

    Nitro Enclaves Command Line Interface

    Tooling for Nitro Enclave management

This repository contains a collection of tools and commands used for managing the lifecycle of enclaves. The Nitro CLI needs to be installed on the parent instance, and it can be used to start, manage, and terminate enclaves. The Nitro Enclaves kernel driver is available in the upstream Linux kernel starting with the v5.10 kernel for x86_64 and starting with the v5.16 kernel for arm64. The codebase from the 'drivers/virt/nitro_enclaves' directory in this GitHub repository is similar to the one merged into the upstream Linux kernel. The enclaves do not have access to a physical disk, just a RAM filesystem. ...

    netsniff-ng

    netsniff-ng

A Swiss army knife for your daily Linux network plumbing

netsniff-ng is a free Linux networking toolkit, a Swiss army knife for your daily Linux network plumbing if you will. Its gain of performance is reached by zero-copy mechanisms, so that on packet reception and transmission the kernel does not need to copy packets from kernel space to user space and vice versa. Our toolkit can be used for network development and analysis, debugging, auditing, or network reconnaissance.

    Cilium

    Cilium

    eBPF-based networking, security, and observability

...Cilium and eBPF operate at the kernel layer. With this level of context we can make intelligent decisions about how to connect different workloads whether on the same node or between clusters. Osquery

    Osquery

SQL operating system instrumentation and monitoring framework

...Osquery exposes an operating system as a high-performance relational database. This allows you to write SQL queries to explore operating system data. With osquery, SQL tables represent abstract concepts such as running processes, loaded kernel modules, open network connections, browser plugins, hardware events or file hashes.Osquery queries your devices like a database. Osquery uses basic SQL commands to leverage a relational data-model to describe a device. Frequently, attackers will leave a malicious process running but delete the original binary on disk. This query returns any process whose original binary has been deleted, which could be an indicator of a suspicious process.

    Hubble

Network, Service & Security Observability for Kubernetes using eBPF

...It is built on top of Cilium and eBPF to enable deep visibility into the communication and behavior of services as well as the networking infrastructure in a completely transparent manner. The Linux kernel technology eBPF is enabling visibility into systems and applications at a granularity and efficiency that was not possible before. It does so in a completely transparent way, without requiring the application to change or for the application to hide information. By building on top of Cilium, Hubble can leverage eBPF for visibility. ...

    Syslogd2

High capacity syslog data collection, filtering, and management.

...It is multi-threaded, scalable and versatile with features designed for both network and host managers. Each Syslogd2 binary is customized from a set of over 20 features at compile-time. It can support input from text files, named-pipes, Linux kernel and user-defined Linux and (both IPv4 and IPv6) IP sockets (both UDP and TCP). It provides a pre-loadable name-cache that can replace DNS services for host-name resolution. Syslogd2 easy-to-use filters use string-matching to select messages which can then be modified, dropped, kept or re-routed (changed to new facilities). Filters are applied to inputs, outputs or both to control msg-routing and network load. ...

    openPOWERLINK

    openPOWERLINK

    An Open Source POWERLINK Stack

...With version 2.0, the source code has been cleanly split into an application-oriented user library and a time-critical stack driver. xdp

    xdp

Package xdp allows one to use XDP sockets

Package github /asavie/xdp allows one to use XDP sockets from the Go programming language. With the default UDP payload size of 1400 bytes, running on Linux kernel 5.1.20, on a tg3 (so no native XDP support) gigabit NIC, sendudp does around 980 Mb/s, so practically line rate. TL;DR: in the same environment, sending a pre-generated DNS query using an ordinary UDP socket yield around 30 MiB/s whereas sending it using the senddnsqueries example program yields around 77 MiB/s. Connecting a PC with Intel Core i7-7700 CPU running Linux kernel 5.0.17 and igb driver to a laptop with Intel Core i7-5600U CPU running Linux kernel 5.0.9 with e1000e with a cat 5E gigabit ethernet cable.
