See https://pidgin.im/about/ for more information. Pidgin is an instant messaging program which lets you log in to accounts on multiple chat networks simultaneously. It runs on Windows, Linux, and other UNIX operating systems. Pidgin is compatible with the following chat networks out of the box: AIM, ICQ, Google Talk, Jabber/XMPP, MSN Messenger, Yahoo!, Bonjour, Gadu-Gadu, IRC, MXit, Novell GroupWise Messenger, Lotus Sametime, SILC, SIMPLE, MySpaceIM, and Zephyr. It is written in C and makes heavy use of GLib and GTK+. Finch is a command line instant messaging program. It also lets you log in to accounts on multiple chat network simultaneously, and it is compatible with the same chat networks as Pidgin. It is written in C and makes heavy use of GLib and ncurses.
Dictionary for Mobile Information Devices and PCs
DictionaryForMIDs is an dictionary application for cell phones, tablets and PCs. The dictionary is completely installed on the device ("offline dictionary"), i.e. after installation there is no need for an internet connection. DictionaryForMIDs can be set up for any dictionary, for any language, or for any other lookup-purpose. The DfM-Creator tool is used to set up a dictionary for use with DictionaryForMIDs.
Bot Sentry is a Pidgin (libpurple) plugin to prevent Instant Message (IM) spam. It allows you to ignore IMs unless the sender is in your Buddy List, the sender is in your Allow List, or the sender correctly answers a question you have predefined.

Windows Phone 8 app for tracking run or drive with map and stats
Simple Windows Phone 8 app shows speed, average speed, time, pause time, distance covered, GPS data. It draws a line on the map to show your run. No ads, no private data is collected. Only capabilities needed are: map, location, data. Start, pause and stop points are marked on the map with different color. Every subsequent run is displayed with alternating red or blue line. Large live tile shows basic stats, medium and small tiles show number of kilometers (or miles) covered. If you downloaded offline maps to your phone or SD card, no cellular data is needed. Maps stored on your phone are used to display position.
