bash-fuzzy-clock is a natural language or "fuzzy" clock script, written in Bash. Use it in Conky (Linux/BSD) or GeekTool (Mac) configurations as a desktop-agnostic fuzzy clock. Translated to French, German, Italian and Spanish.
A simple software update notifier for debian based systems
A simple, light-weight, desktop-independent update notification applet for the system tray on apt based systems as Debian, Ubuntu or Linux Mint. A cron job runs in the background and periodically checks for pending software updates, the applet informs you by its color about the state of your system. Through its menu you can view the list of pending updates, check for updates and install these. The main goal of un-applet is to provide an easy way to help users to keep their system up to date without getting in the user's way while keeping software dependencies at a minimum.

a customizable boot menu for your Kobo Mini
Mainly this project aims at easing startup and use of XCSoar (see xcsoar.org) on Kobo Mini. But the scope of use should not be limited solely to XCSoar. The Launcher should be small in code size, reuse most of the original libraries, provide flexible configuration to any application that might be ported to the Kobo Mini. It supports customizable fonts, toolbox-pages, buttons (also graphical), labels, autostart and sleep timers.
