ExoPlayer is an application level media player for Android. It provides an alternative to Android’s MediaPlayer API for playing audio and video both locally and over the Internet. ExoPlayer supports features not currently supported by Android’s MediaPlayer API, including DASH and SmoothStreaming adaptive playbacks. I am building this media player for those who wants to play music from the selected folders only. Unlike other media players on Android, iK player does not scan the sd card (or any other external storage) for music files and allows users to select folders where their favourite music files lies. This project is under development and not ready for the end user yet. When it will be, the appropriate link to Google Play store will be shared here.
